Undertaker vs. Triple H: Hell in a Cell Match Is Perfect Way to End Intense Feud

Adam WellsJun 2, 2018

The Undertaker and Triple H have engaged in one of the most intense rivalries that WWE has had in a long time. It all comes to a head on Sunday night at WrestleMania in the best possible match, Hell In a Cell.

When the stipulation was first announced, it was a strong choice to bring this rivalry full circle. Undertaker and Triple H have made the Hell In a Cell famous. They know that this is supposed to be a brutal match that takes your body and soul to the limit, at least it should appear that way.

In recent years, the Hell In a Cell concept has been watered down due to the lack of violence and a gimmick pay-per-view that has rendered the special feeling the match used to have.

By allowing Undertaker and Triple H to bring the concept back on a stage like WrestleMania, WWE has done everything in its power to show the world that it wants the fans to care about Hell In a Cell matches again.

And what better way for these two legends of the industry to end their rivalry than in the match they helped revolutionize.

Last year's match was as close to a Hell In a Cell match as you can get without actually having the cage around the ring. They put their bodies through hell in order to tell the story that, no matter what happens, Undertaker will always find a way to win.

By adding the Cell to the mix, there are so many possibilities for where they can go. They can get a lot more intense with their moves. Not only will there be chair shots, but heads will be rammed into the cage, tables will be broken and someone is going to bleed.

This is one instance where the PG era will help a match. By not having blood appear on-screen for so long, when Undertaker and/or Triple H see their face turn into a crimson mask, the impact will be that much greater.

There is no doubt that this match is going to be good, as the Hell In a Cell stipulation gives it a world of possibilities that the audience will gravitate towards.
