WrestleMania 28: Kane and More Superstars Who Will Be Buried at Major Event
Even though getting onto the WrestleMania card is an accomplishment in itself, certain superstars will still walk out of Miami with falling stocks. In most cases a poor build precedes the pay-per-view burial, and it will take a long time to bounce back.
Let's take a look at three WWE stars who will suffer the unfortunate fate on Sunday night. Not all of them deserve it, but that's just the way things go at the year's biggest event.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Following an extended absence, The Great Khali returned at Royal Rumble and has been booked in a crazy fashion. He was given a spot in the World Heavyweight Title Elimination Chamber match, which would normally be great for a superstar, but Khali was eliminated almost immediately.
Since every other wrestler in the 12-man tag team match at least has a general direction, it would be a major surprise if Khali wasn't the one who got pinned in the end. There has been no indication that he's anything more than a gigantic, overused jobber.
Team Johnny has been given the better build leading up to Sunday, so they'll likely come on on top with Khali taking the fall.
There were high expectations for Kane when he returned with his mask to attack John Cena, but a couple months later it's starting to appear like the refreshed character will never get off the ground. It's disappointing to see a potentially great storyline wasted.
After Cena defeated him, he started feuding with Randy Orton on SmackDown. Even though he got the upper hand early, Orton has been made to look stronger in recent weeks and could use the WrestleMania push after dealing with some injuries that slowed his momentum.
That likely means Kane will suffer another high-profile loss, causing his character—which should be an unstoppable monster—to look weak once again.
Beth Phoenix
Phoenix, whose run as the WWE Divas champion is nearly 200 days, has been an afterthought in recent weeks. After it was determined Kharma wouldn't be making her return prior to WrestleMania, the spotlight turned to Eve instead.
The Divas are rarely given comprehensive storylines like their male counterparts, but you'd think the champion would be at least made to look strong. Being stuck in a tag-team match that includes Maria Menounos spells a further downfall for Phoenix.
Celebrities who are brought in for the show almost always come out on the winning end of things. It all adds up to another lackluster night for the “Glamazon.”
