WWE WrestleMania 28: 5 Reasons Why Sheamus Will Crush Daniel Bryan

It may be the best or worst heavyweight title match of the night.

And frankly, it is a given that Sheamus should win the match and become the new World Heavyweight Champion.

But, you guys know, this stuff is already decided.

Sheamus' rise to the title isn't as dramatic as, say, the rise of CM Punk or the battle of Punk and Jericho, but his rise as a face is great for the company.

Now, he wins the Royal Rumble and faces arguably the most opportunistic wrestler in the business today in Daniel Bryan.

So who really wins, David or Goliath? Here are some reasons why Sheamus will conquer Daniel Bryan and take home the title.

The Fans Are Tired of the Daniel Bryan Run

The shtick does not resonate with me.

He is a talented wrestler and one of the best in the world. He can match up well with CM Punk, Chris Jericho, Cody Rhodes and others.

But the match looks awkward and needs to be "special."

There is nothing special about this.

Bryan lies, cheats and steals to win, just like a good heel should.

A.J. Lee Will Interfere and Cost Bryan the Match

She jumped in the ring Monday night, which was surprising. And she cost Sheamus the match.

Oh, how women love a man with gold around his waist. Lee is the wild card in this match. She will determine the outcome.

I wonder if she sticks around if Bryan loses the match. Or, does she get blamed if he loses?

The Company Wants to See Sheamus on a Long Title Run

Maybe this is a stretch, but Wade Barrett is injured and Christian has been pulled back from WM 28.

Sheamus goes on a nice title run, only to wind up facing Cody Rhodes or Barrett at SummerSlam.

That would be epic.

Sheamus is one of those throwback brawlers we used to watch in the NWA (Ole Anderson, The Barbarian). And he fits the idea of someone who can carry the brand for a while and keep the title on his waist.

Personally, I love Rhodes and Sheamus in an angle.

Will Be the Quickest Match of the Night

Look at it this way: If Sheamus runs through the likes of Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger with ease, why wouldn't this be a quick match?

I think the other "main event matches" pique everyone's interest more, so the creative team will have it end fast and painfully.

Then again, I could be wrong.

It's Predetermined

Like I said, the creative team wants a long title reign and may give a push to other superstars.

Rhodes, Barrett, Christian and maybe Drew McIntyre all could be in the mix.

The WWE needs to get more wrestlers in the main event. They also may need to siphon off some to the mid-card to balance things out.
