WWE's Once in a Lifetime Cena vs. the Rock Special Adds Intrigue to WrestleMania

As if we needed another reason to believe the upcoming match between The Rock and John Cena would be anything short of spectacular, we get an hour-long special entitled Once in a Lifetime. 

I am confident that I join millions of wrestling fans around the world who hope that the special lives up to that name, and that the actual event surpasses it.

Here is the vital info for a must-see TV event for even the most fair weather of wrestling fans.

When: Monday, March 26th, 8 p.m. ET

The special will then air all week as we ramp up for WrestleMania 28 on Sunday, April 1st. You can see a list of every airing of Once in a Lifetime at the Official Site of the WWE. 

The special is meant to do a couple of things. First, it's the WWE's answer to flooding the market with WrestleMania chatter ahead of the biggest one in years. 

I am not about to say that this is a make or break event, because the best organization in sports and entertainment is going nowhere. 

However, they could use a boost after a great many older fans have left the arenas and turned off the coverage in recent years. 

That brings me to the second and most important part of this special event: It will get us acquainted with the biggest names on the docket for Sunday's match. 

This has been touted as a truly once-in-a-lifetime clash, as two icons from two different generations engage in battle. 

This one-hour special will serve to bring back old fans who may have left with cynical thoughts on the WWE and will still captivate those of us who never left. 

There is a ton riding on WrestleMania 28, which should be one of the most viewed events in wrestling history. It's time to get acquainted with the men who will drive the madness headed into the week. 

The wrestling world is about to be turned upside down, and the special will give us a hint as to how we got here.
