WWE's Worst Person of the Week (March 26 Edition): Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes has become somewhat of a fan favorite among Internet fans, who have grown to love Rhodes because of his excellent work as an “old-school” type of heel.
But if you were a younger fan who, in true wrestling tradition, hates the heels and loves the baby faces, then you would have absolutely despised Rhodes last week.
The second-generation WWE superstar took his feud with The Big Show to a whole different level on last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, when he interfered in Show’s match with Kane and cost him a victory. That in and of itself wasn’t so bad—it was what Rhodes did after the match that made him look like a real piece of crap.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
After leveling Show with the Disaster Kick, Rhodes handcuffed show to the ring ropes, threw on a pair of boxing gloves (as a throwback to Show’s match with Floyd Mayweather at WrestleMania 24) and then laid a world-class beatdown on The Big Show, knocking him senseless in the process.
This was great. The Big Show is one of the WWE’s top baby faces, and destroying him like that made Rhodes look like an absolute disgrace of a human being, which is exactly what the WWE seems to be going for.
Of course, Rhodes didn’t stop there, though.
When Big Show wrestled Kane again on Smackdown, Rhodes again interfered in the match, hit Show and caused the match to end in a disqualification. Rhodes then hightailed it out of the ring, sprinted out of the arena without even looking back and managed to escape from Big Show unscathed.
Rhodes now looks like the ultimate coward because he and Show have yet to have a chance for a fair one-on-one fight.
The fans are growing to hate Rhodes more and more by the week, and he is slowly but surely developing into one of the most well-rounded heels in the entire WWE.
It may make him my “Worst Person of the Week,” but it also makes him one hell of a WWE superstar.
Note: As part of the new WWE blog, I'll be asking all of the B/R wrestling readers for questions for a new mailbag that I will post on Fridays. It will be a slideshow featuring 10-20 questions and answers on a wide range of topics. You can submit questions either through Formspring or Twitter, and the best ones will be answered in the B/R mailbag.
