WWE Rumors: Mick Foley Adds the Star Power to Make WrestleMania 28 Great

While the WrestleMania 28 card is already one of the deepest in the history of the company, the possible addition of WWE legend Mick Foley would make this event legendary.

Foley is one of the biggest crowd favorites in the history of the WWE and is one of the most well-respected wrestlers in the business. With him comes an aura, and Foley could bring that to the GM battle tag team match.

With Team Teddy missing a face that the crowd can really get behind other than Santino Marella, Mick Foley not only boosts the team credibility, he also boosts the match relevance in the fans' eyes.

Mick Foley teased a possible return to the ring for WrestleMania on Twitter:

Foley then followed it up with a very funny tweet:

Not amused was The Miz, who also may be teasing something that could come to fruition as part of the Team Johnny vs. Team Teddy feud:

While I have not been particularly enamored with this match, the idea of possibly adding The Miz and Mick Foley to the mix has me legitimately excited for this bout. I still believe that Team Johnny will win because of WWE’s infatuation with having a heel in charge of the WWE, but at least Foley can make this match more interesting.

Plus, who doesn’t want to see Socko and Santino’s cobra team up?

If Foley is indeed coming back, it will be a one-off situation that sees him work this match and disappear again. Judging from the weight he was carrying at the Royal Rumble, a 12-man match may be all he can work anymore.

Whatever the case may be, if Mick Foley is on the WrestleMania card, it will be even more memorable. Vinny Mac knows this and won’t let us down.
