WrestleMania 28: Dolph Ziggler and Wrestlers Who Can't Afford to Fail

Luis BatlleJun 7, 2018

The time has come, as wrestling fans are well aware of the nearing WrestleMania XXVIII.

If John Cena vs. The Rock is the featured clash, this is sure to be promising WrestleMania event.

Dolph Ziggler is one of the wrestlers who knows he will have the pressure on him to come through, as he is one of the major up-and-coming talents.

These are Ziggler and the three wrestlers competing in WrestleMania 28 who cannot afford to come up short.

Dolph Ziggler

Despite being a member of Team Johnny at WrestleMania, all eyes will on one wrestler in this team vs. team matchup—Ziggler.

Ziggler has been on the rise in the sport and is, in his words, "working my way to the main events." In an interview with Arda Ocal of the Score Television Network, Ziggler makes clear he is ready to move on up and fight at more of the main events.

A promising showing at WrestleMania 28 might just be a step in the right direction.

The Rock

Known as a guy who is there for publicity and stardom, The Rock is under major pressure to perform against John Cena in the featured clash of the night at WrestleMania 28.

Cena is arguably the most dominant wrestler the sport has to offer, as The Rock may well have his hands full in this one. Yet if The Rock doesn't give Cena all he has, the perception of the former champion will only worsen.

John Cena

Although there is pressure on The Rock to perform, there also exists that same pressure for Cena.

On top of the sport, Cena can't afford, by any means, to take a loss to a wrestler who left the sport for seven years and decided to make a recent comeback. This is a loss that would not only tarnish Cena in 2012, and perhaps for his career.

This match has to be a statement match for the big-time wrestler, as The Rock can't prove to be a match for Cena.
