WWE Wrestlemania 28: What Needs to Be Stressed on the Go-Home Episode of RAW?

Giulio RomanoJun 7, 2018

This is it folks, one week and a little more remains before the big explosion in Miami.

Monday Night RAW is right around the corner, it needs to kick butt and bring everyone on board in just two hours—not a simple task, but there is little WWE can't accomplish, so let's go!

John Cena and The Rock will headline this year's extravaganza while The Undertaker, Triple H and Shawn Michaels usher in the end of an era, all within the confines of a steel cage.

Speaking of ending of worlds, what about Chris Jericho and CM Punk? All this battling over who is the best in the world has now gotten very personal. Y2J's unearthing the WWE Champion family business will surely lead to something out of this world and not for nothing, the ultimate prize in all of sports entertainment.

Also, the fate of both RAW and SmackDown hangs in the balance as both general managers, Teddy Long and John Laurinaitis, vie for control of the entire roster. Who remains to be chosen as members of either teams?

Next Monday's show is going to be one of, if not the most important episode of the year. It has to be executed right, no details spared.

This is what viewers need to witness come March 26.

More Jericho Antics Towards CM Punk

1 of 6

It's now a family affair? Chris Jericho is a master manipulator and who knows if he can be stopped.

Poor CM Punk must be tearing his facial hairs out trying to find out who else has dirty secrets in his family, and worse, if Y2J already knows about it.

The WWE championship match between the supposed best in the world could very well outshine all the others that night in terms of style and precision, but it will get really nasty at times, no doubt about it. The Straightedge Superstar is out for blood now.

Not to disappoint fans who are hoping for a clash between them, but it is not going to happen now. Chris Jericho is playing his part wonderfully and CM Punk has all the ammunition he needs to beat the crap out of his challenger. What needs to happen now is another 10-15 minute segment between them to get everyone's hair standing on end.

There has been a short preview already (the past RAW tag match). In order to keep this magic safe, no physicality beyond a slap in the face or cheap shot must happen. By not doing too much other than talking, it will get everyone even more interested and impatient for April 1. That is surely what the Mastermind Jericho is counting on.

A Beth Phoenix Appearance on This (insert Evil Here) Show!

2 of 6

No one can stop her right now—no one.

She is dominance personified and if the corporate heads of WWE can't figure this out then they need to go. The Divas Division needs to be strong and Beth Phoenix is the right person to lead them.

Not having a title match at the big event is already a huge mistake and whipping up some sort of hack tag-team match is a sin, period. The least Creative can do is put the beautiful amazon on television for once.

Where has she been these last few weeks? Alicia Fox did mess up her pretty face and that had to be concealed, but that's the past now, so why is the Divas champion MIA?

The tag match involving the gorgeous Eve (seeing her Live makes all the difference) and Beth Phoenix vs. Kelly Kelly and um—that extra woman, Maria—Menounos! yes that's her, needs to be mentioned just a little.

Viewers need to somehow get why and how this all came to be and not in five minutes. How about an actual segment between them?

The Glamazon better come out on top at the big show or I will riot.

MIZ MIZ MIZ MIZ

3 of 6

The Miz has been losing for so long now it is just has to be part of a storyline. No one can lose like that and still remain so important.

This is important because when it comes to WWE booking, it is see-through.

The Miz on his way to something huge, like regaining the WWE championship soon or something like that. Maybe his being planted by The Rock after the Live broadcast is a taste of things to come.

Could they do all this so The Rock and The Miz finally meet in the ring at say SummerSlam? Can the Awesome One be granted his ultimate wish and battle his lifelong idol in the main event?

No matter what happens, the Must-See Superstar will lose his next match, 100 percent, and be pushed to the brink of insanity. Hopefully he will stay planet Neptune away from the main event between Rock and Cena but rest assured, he will make everyone pay when the time comes.

All will be revealed in time, in time (possessed Reagan voice)!

What Does "Going All the Way" Really Signify?

4 of 6

All this talk of careers, lives, children, Hell, Cells, etc. is confusing. They should just make this officially a career match at WrestleMania. Or is it already?

With that little grin HBK had on his face, it's not because he thinks Undertaker is right, it is because he knows that will pump Triple H's blood so much. Once the smoke settles, no one will have an excuse as to why he lost the war—he knows his best friend well.

The two DX members must come to the ring and somehow establish that this match will be called down to the middle. A cheat or tarnished victory would prove nothing and ruin the whole thing, therefore it is their best interest to flush everyone's distrust.

It truly is the end of an era. This match is of vital importance, the show depends on them being the legends they are and having the most awesome "Hell in a Cell" match of their careers. Where things end, new things will begin. April 2 and its RAW episode will be very important to watch as it all comes together.

The Final Confrontation: Who Will Sneak Attack Who?

5 of 6

According to the WWE.com, there is a scheduled face off between the two opposing mega-stars on Monday's show following a special documentary entitled "Once in a lifetime".

No one knows if this will be the one and only time John Cena and The Rock will wrestle but the stakes are pretty high already: the show depends on it.

It would be nice to see one take out the other and help influence fans' choices worldwide. Can that really happen? Turning away people with a single finisher, lightning fast.

What's left to say between them now?

Mothers have been mentioned, wives, kisses, a rock concert, a ghetto rap, all this is fine but people need to feel this being personal, now. No more jokes or no-selling.

The Rock needs to either slap the taste out of Cena's mouth, Rock-Bottom him or John Cena must pick up The Great One and deliver the F-U to the Miami native as a clear message to his hometown supporters: I am coming, deal with it.

Their match at WrestleMania XXVIII will not be PG as much as the company would like it to be. Good thing the stadium doesn't have a roof—it just might have blown off.

This Spectacular Event

6 of 6

It might not be the greatest ever, as it could have been, but it will definitely be great.

There is a lot of good stuff here and room for more. What has been reviewed so far are some very important, key elements that absolutely must be addressed next week.

But what about the other things already booked on the card?

The GM war, Randy Orton's dance with the Devil and the Intercontinental/World Heavyweight title matches. Are they second fiddle or worth people's attention?

Monday Night RAW, March 26, 2012 will be a date to remember.
