New York Jets: Tebow Time Comes to Broadway in Huge Trade with Denver
First "Broadway Joe" in the early sixties and now, the complete antithesis of Joe Namath lands on the great white way in Tim Tebow.
The Denver Broncos promised to move Tebow somewhere he could "revive his career" according to John Elway, and where better than the media capital of the world, with a coach who loves the spotlight on his team.
Tebow to the Jets is as much a game changer in the NFL as Peyton Manning coming to Denver is. Now, one of the largest and most success-starved franchise in the league has a true quarterback controversy brewing.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
It seems like forever ago that the Jets gave Sanchez a contract extension and seemingly, a vote of confidence.
If NFL fans thought that the groundswell to replace Kyle Orton with Tim Tebow was loud in Denver, just wait until the entire city of New York get's a load of "Tebow Time."
Fans of the Jets may have been ready to swap Sanchez for Tebow after their epic Thursday Night Football match up last season that saw Sanchez shrink from the role of hero, only to see Tebow create the highlight that defined the Broncos historic run to the playoffs, galloping 20 yards for the winning touchdown in the final minute.
The New York Jets will now have to deal with the constant bickering over whether Tebow's intangibles are the missing ingredient for the talented to Jets to finally break down the door and get to the Super Bowl.
Make no mistake, the Jets brass knew what they were doing in making this trade. They are testing their supposed "franchise" quarterback in Sanchez to see if he can gain the leadership and confidence needed to thrive and succeed in the NFL. At every turn now, he will hear calls for Tebow to take the reigns and lead the Jets into the playoffs like he did for the Broncos.
The NFL must be smiling because now, every Jets game could be the start of "Tebow Time" again, but this time it happens to occur under the spotlight in New York. It will make "Linsanity" look like nothing more than a flash in the pan generated by the opening of new restaurant in Lower Manhattan.
The possibilities are endless for Tebow in New York. Two games against McDaniels and Brady in New England for Tim will be must-see TV. The juxtaposition of foul mouthed Rex Ryan and straight laced Tim Tebow would make for a nice return of Hard Knocks to the Jets training camp.
Who knows what will actually transpire in 2012 for the Jets and Broncos along with their new quarterbacks?
One thing is for sure though, the top item on the NFL's Christmas List is an AFC Championship pitting Peyton and the Broncos, against the Tebow-led Jets.
