WrestleMania 28 Card: Analyzing Most Likely Scenarios for the Miz's Involvement
At WrestleMania XXVII The Miz entered as the WWE Champion and faced John Cena in the main event. Thanks to interference from The Rock, Miz retained by pinning Cena. While that should have launched Miz to new heights he has been lost in the shuffle ever since and he isn't currently scheduled to wrestle at WrestleMania XXVIII.
Week after week The Miz has been involved in matches against top guys like Cena, CM Punk and Sheamus and he continues to lose. Despite that, he has expressed his desire to compete at WrestleMania. His efforts to be included on John Laurinaitis' team on April 1 have been thwarted, so it will be interesting to see how the awesome one is utilized.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Here is a breakdown of the three most likely Miz involvement scenarios at WrestleMania.
Late Addition to Team Teddy to Help Team Johnny
With The Miz's efforts to join Team Johnny in the 12-man tag match for control of both RAW and SmackDown repeatedly being foiled, it seems very likely that he will be a surprise addition to Teddy Long's team. Long's team is going to be comprised of faces, while Laurinaitis' team will have heels, so The Miz joining Team Teddy would be quite the surprise. I could either see Miz attacking somebody and stealing hid spot or Teddy picking him as a last resort.
During the match The Miz will help Team Teddy for much of it while using face mannerisms. Just when it looks like The Miz is on the verge of a face turn, he will ultimately help Team Johnny pick up the win, thus revealing that he and Laurinaitis were in cahoots the whole time in order to get a mole on Team Teddy. This will result in a renewed push for The Miz. Of all the possible scenarios, this certainly seems like the most feasible at this point.
Late Addition to Team Teddy Leads to Face Turn
Another possible scenario also involves The Miz competing for Team Teddy, but this time it results in an actual face turn. The Miz has played the heel role for his entire tenure with the company and he has been very good at it, but at the same time he is often chosen to do media appearances for the WWE and has shown a good, marketable personality. Because of that, it isn't far-fetched to think that he could be a face that the fans can get behind.
It would very easy to complete the turn as The Miz could be the hero in a Team Teddy victory, resulting in Laurinaitis being removed from power. It can be argued that The Miz needs some sort of change in order to be refreshed, and a face turn would undoubtedly do the trick. I'm inclined to believe that he will remain a heel since RAW is a bit thin when it comes to main event-level heels currently, but a face turn is a very real possibility.
Interferes in The Rock vs. John Cena and Gets Double Burial
Failing The Miz being a part of the Team Johnny vs. Team Teddy match, the only other fit for him is to interfere in the main event of The Rock vs. John Cena. Despite the fact that The Miz was the WWE Champion last year and won WrestleMania's main event, he was always the third wheel to Rock and Cena. Miz has often expressed his dismay over that and he could very well set out to do something about it. Many are up in arms over this possibility as they want a clean finish to the match, but Miz wouldn't have any bearing on the result.
If Miz does interfere in the match, then there is no way it ends well for him. It would probably end with Miz being dispatched off in seconds by a Rock Bottom and an Attitude Adjustment in succession. This would get the crowd buzzing, but it would also further bury Miz, who hasn't won a match in what feels like forever. This is the scenario I would least like to see happen, but it wouldn't be much of a shocker.
