John Cena Car Accident: Dedication Shows His Supremacy over the Rock

Those of you who watched Raw Monday night got a real hint of what greatness is. Just to be clear, that did not come in the form of the Rock, who ran out and gave the Rock Bottom to a beaten up Mark Henry. No, the greatness was in Cena, who defeated Henry hours after being in a car wreck. 

Before you Cena bashers out there come at me with all of your fury, I know it wasn't a serious wreck. But if you have ever been in a minor car wreck early in the day, you know that a lot of the pain comes later in the day. 

Honestly, Cena deserves to be commended for even showing up that night. But then you factor in that he showed up and managed to lift a man of Henry's size for an Attitude Adjustment. If that doesn't define greatness and an incredible work ethic, nothing does.

When you sign a person to your promotion, you can't ask for anything more than what Cena has given. The difference in commitment between Cena and the Rock is really apparent. 

Even when the Rock is "back," what do we get out of him in an episode? He has one prerecorded segment, and then literally one minute of live television. Try as hard as you want, but you will never spin that to make anyone believe that he really cares about the WWE, or is the "People's Champion."

A People's Champion is one that every now and again will make his presence felt with said people. The Rock doesn't do that, even when there's no reason not to. 

Conversely, when Cena has an excuse to stay away, he's right there front and center, putting what already had to be a beaten up body on the line. 

When the two men square off on April 1 at WrestleMania XXVIII, there is absolutely no doubt who deserves the win. The man who has shown consistent commitment to the business is the greater star than the one who only shows up when it's convenient. 

Right now, Cena is vastly superior to the Rock. So, when the two square off, what happens in the ring needs to reflect that.
