WrestleMania 28: Undertaker's Match Against Triple H Won't Be His Last

Eric BallJun 5, 2018

The Undertaker is one of the greatest wrestler’s ever to grace the WWE scene and they can’t just put an end to his career at WrestleMania on April 1.

They are hyping his Hell in a Cell match against Triple H as “the end of an era,” but there is no way The Undertaker is going to be swept under the rug after this epic battle.

Here is what I think the WWE creative team is going to do: Triple H will beat Undertaker in the Hell in a Cell and ruin “The Streak,” in large part because of terrible officiating from guest referee Shawn Michaels.

This will cause Undertaker to feel like he has some unfinished business to handle, that’ll lead to another few months of build up so Undertaker can get revenge on Michaels for screwing up his streak. Summer Slam maybe?

Considering The Undertaker is days away from turning 47 years old, he can’t compete on a weekly basis the way new superstars like CM Punk and Daniel Bryan are able to. That’s why WWE is playing up the angle that he’ll be retiring. Yet as long as he’s able to endure a few minutes of punishment, WWE can still milk a lot out of him.

But there’s no denying the aura that the legend brings to the table every time he enters a sold-out stadium with that classic intro song playing.  You hear the bell ring and you know what time it is.

He is WWE, and is the only active wrestler that appeared on the first-ever episode of Raw. Even if he can only wrestle in two matches a year, they can’t just get rid of one of the greatest of all time.

Besides, what the heck is a guy like Undertaker going to do for a living without the WWE? Become a real undertaker?
