WrestleMania 28: The Rock Guarantees One Final Shock for WWE
With WrestleMania 28 marking the end of the road for The Rock in the WWE, he will be sending his diehard fans home with one last surprise.
The Rock will not only lose to John Cena, he will shake hands after the match and raise Cena’s hand in victory. Just like a star putting another star over should.
I can feel the blood of all The Rock marks boiling at the thought of this ending to the match, but it’s the best way to sell the fans that hate Cena on the fact that he is the face of the WWE no matter what they yell.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Some fans have claimed that they will turn their back on the WWE if this finish ends up going this way, and that’s their right. If these fans don’t think the same conversations were being held when The Rock faced Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 18 though, they are crazy.
This is almost the exact same situation, just ten years later and The Rock has shifted roles. While he was put over years ago by Hogan, he will do the same for Cena now.
Cena is the WWE’s cash cow, and they want as many of the lingering Attitude Era fans that support The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Chris Jericho and Undertaker to stick around when those stars fade away from the TV tapings.
While putting Cena over The Rock like this will be risky, since many of the fans have already claimed they would not watch anymore if that comes to fruition, there will be more people that keep booing than actually stop watching.
The WWE has always said the company is bigger than any one star, so fans that stop watching because of one star or one match outcome aren’t true fans anyway. True fans stick around through thick and thin, and The Rock will lose at WrestleMania to show the fans that Cena is good enough to deserve cheers.
We can’t argue that Cena is already a huge star that will go down as one of the greatest of all time when WWE is finished with him. But fans can argue about how stall his gimmick is and how tired they are of the Superman act. Whether fans like it or not, every generation has a Superman and John Cena is this generation's.
That’s why the last generation’s Superman—The Rock—will be losing to the current Superman.
At WrestleMania 38 when John Cena squares off with whatever star has taken the reigns as the face of the company, it will be him losing to ensure that that younger star gets over.
With a loss at WrestleMania 28 for The Rock, he is giving the WWE the ultimate parting gift.
