Wrestlemania 28: Why April 1 Is Sheamus' Night to Become a Star

With the John Cena and The Rock rivalry and the CM Punk and Chris Jericho rivalry, there is one WrestleMania match that is flying under the radar. That match is Daniel Bryan versus Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Sheamus earned the chance to face Bryan at WrestleMania 28 when he won the Royal Rumble. Ever since becoming a WWE superstar, Sheamus has made an impact. Here is why April 1 is his night to breakout and become a star.

He Has Earned It

Sheamus burst into the WWE and has risen to the top quickly. Since his debut in 2009, Sheamus has gotten some decent pushes and has responded well each time.

He has been a solid superstar since his debut and deserves a true title run. He is a two-time WWE Champion and each run was decent. However, he has not been a World Heavyweight Champion nor has he had a serious run since turning babyface.

Daniel Bryan Will Help Him Put on a Great Match

Daniel Bryan is currently the best technical wrestler in the WWE and that should help make this a great match. The two are very different superstars, which could make this match very interesting, and they can go different ways with it.

Both superstars have really come into their own lately and this is not only a chance for Sheamus to really breakout, but it is also a chance for Bryan to as well.

His Age

Despite being relatively new in the company, Sheamus is 34 years old. He does not have as much time to develop into a star as other wrestlers do because his window of being in his physical prime is smaller.

If the WWE wants to make this guy into a real star and give him a serious push, they have to do so soon.

Complete Package

Sheamus has the look, the skills and the gimmick. He is a big individual at 6'6" and 274 lbs. He is very athletic for a guy that size. A superstar that is larger than life in physique, who is also athletic is rare in the company today.

He is the complete package and could make his jump into the elite at WrestleMania 28.
