Tim Tebow: Miami Dolphins Must Stay Clear of Tebowmania
Tim Tebow will be taking his talents somewhere, but Miami will not be one of the destinations considered. At least, not if the Dolphins know what is good for them.
On Monday, the world found out that the Denver Broncos would again be the center of the football world next season. Instead of Tim Tebow fueling that hype, the job will now belong to Peyton Manning.
The former Colts star will be the Denver Broncos' current one soon enough.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
That leaves us all to wonder where Tim Tebow will land after such a huge shift in the locker room. There is only so much room in Denver, and that has to mean Tebow is on the outs.
ESPN's Mel Kiper tackles just this question and issues the most likely landing spots for Tebow, and mentions the Miami Dolphins among them.
"If Ross really, truly wants to make a splash for the sake of a splash, he at least calls to get a price for Tebow. But let's be clear here: He just hired a coach that's been directing Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense. If he wants a QB to be able to run that type of system in any form, Tebow can only be viewed as a developmental candidate...
"
The Dolphins have an impressive roster that can do some damage, but my fear is Tebow's positives are so highly specialized that it would mandate an offensive overhaul.
This is no plug and play quarterback as the Broncos found out last year. Now, I am not about to discount that Tebow can play, as there was plenty of being proven wrong last year.
However, he needs a team that will give him the time to develop and have no qualms about completely changing the strategy to suit Tebow.
James Walker of ESPN hits this on the head perfectly.
"Miami is implementing a precision-passing, West Coast offense under rookie head coach Joe Philbin. Last year Denver had to completely gut its offense to mold around Tebow’s strength, which is more run-oriented.
"
Tebow would drive ticket sales and would buy the franchise about a week of goodwill. After that, it's all about winning.
There is little leeway left for a franchise that has been mired in mediocrity for far too long. Tebow would mandate time and patience, and this fanbase has neither considering the type of QB failures they have had to sift through.
Tebow will make one team very happy, but that team is not the Miami Dolphins.
