WWE Rumors: John Cena Car Accident Must Be Used as an Angle for Raw
12-time WWE Champion John Cena was in a car accident on Monday in Philadelphia, according to WWE.com.
According to TMZ.com, Cenaโs SUV was struck in the rear by another car after it was hit by a tractor trailer. While there were no reported injuries, there have been rumors that the star may have suffered an injury that he is not revealing.
The WWE is reporting that the star will report to doctors once he arrives for Raw, or at least thatโs what the WWE wants the fans to believe.

In case you didnโt believe that the company feeds into the media circus that follows them whenever they can, WWE Insider is reporting on Twitter about the rumors surrounding the car accident:
"Rumors surround @JohnCena following his car accident today. He says he's fine, others say he was holding his neck when he arrived at #Raw.

When you have been watching wrestling for as long as most fans have, you can smell a work from a mile away. What fans can also smell is the chance for the WWE to pull off a work, and thatโs exactly what the company has been presented with.
Cena is scheduled for a match against Mark Henry Monday night, but the WWE officials have made it clear that they do not want their main event guys getting hurt. The accident gives Vince McMahon a feasible way to allow Cena to get out of the match.
How exactly WWE incorporates it is not yet clear, but allowing a car accident that the company itself reported on their websiteโand that has since been seen on major publications all over the worldโto slip through their fingers is not something they will do at WWE.
I expect to see Cena in a wheelchair by the time Raw actually goes to air.
