Tim Tebow Trade Rumors: Likeliest Landing Spots for Mile High Messiah
Let the speculation die—Peyton Manning is going to be joining the Denver Broncos.
Of course, this also means that Tim Tebow will be departing the Mile High City, at least according to Adam Schefter of ESPN:
"More filed to ESPN: And now that Peyton Manning has directed his agent to get deal done with Denver, Broncos will try to trade Tim Tebow.

But where might Tebow land? Let's take a look at a few teams that would make a lot of sense for Tebow or should show interest in the polarizing signal-caller.
Miami Dolphins
You couldn't lose in free agency much harder than the Dolphins did this year. Peyton Manning didn't seem to ever seriously consider them. Matt Flynn went to Seattle despite the fact that Miami's new head coach was his old offensive coordinator in Green Bay, Joe Philbin. Alex Smith is likely to return to the San Francisco 49ers now.
They traded away the best offensive weapon they had, Brandon Marshall. Really, the only positive thus far from this offseason for Miami was that the team brought back defensive tackle Paul Soliai.
At this point, the Dolphins have four options in regard to the quarterback position: Allow Matt Moore to remain the starter, sign David Garrard, trade for Tim Tebow or draft Ryan Tannehill.
Of all of those options, Tebow is certainly the most sexy and would sell the most tickets. He's kind of a big deal in general, but he's a really big deal in the state of Florida.
But here's the thing: Of all of those options, you can also make the argument that Tebow is simply the best option from a football perspective. Moore and Garrard are just bodies, and Tannehill will be coming into the NFL fairly raw.
The Dolphins absolutely should make a play for Tebow. Then again, given the way the offseason has gone thus far, they'll probably fail to land him.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Remember when I said that Tebow was a big deal in Florida? Well, he's basically the mayor of Jacksonville.
And I don't think Blaine Gabbert or Chad Henne are nearly enough to convince Jacksonville that the huge and positive PR hit Tebow would bring the team isn't worth adding him to the mix.
Jacksonville will at the very least kick the tires on bringing Tebow aboard. They have far more to gain with Tebow in town than they could possibly lose.
Cleveland Browns
Cleveland has Colt McCoy in town and is in a position to draft Ryan Tannehill with the fourth-overall pick.
Then again, they could trade for Tebow, draft Trent Richardson with that pick and create a ridiculous running attack that would be crazy-fun to watch.
Okay, I can't actually imagine Mike Holmgren and company doing this unless they saw actual upside in Tebow as a passer.
But given that the options in Cleveland are McCoy and Tannehill, I still think Tebow to Cleveland is a possibility, however slight.
Kansas City Chiefs
For a moment, imagine this running game: Tebow, Peyton Hillis, Jamaal Charles and Dexter McCluster.
I know they have Matt Cassel, but c'mon—how fun would Tebow on this offense be?
This possibility highly unlikely, but I contend the Chiefs could be a sneaky contender in all of this. If you can't beat him, trade for him, right?
Stay tuned.
