RVD and Batista In New Movie!

Recently there was word on a few sites that both RVD and Batista would be in a movie. That has now been confirmed and both are available to do it. Batista has been wanting to take time off since Wrestlemania of last year.

He mentioned he wanted to do some acting on his time off and since he is out with an injury it works. The Movie is not a WWE Films project however. It is called “The Wrong Side of the Tracks, Part 1.”

The movie is scheduled to be filmed from 2/3 to 2/24 in Baton Rouge, LA. Which makes you think, since it is called The Wrong Side of the Tracks "Part 1," then you know there is going to be a sequel of course.

Since I do not know what it is about nor the parts RVD or Batista will play yet, I cannot tell you if it is going to be good or not. If it is the sequel will come out of course. If not I wouldn't expect it. 

RVD had been out of the WWE for a few years now. He made a surprise return for one match around this time last year however. Of course RVD will pmp this on his radio show. If you listen to it let me kno if I am right.

I am not sure if either Batista or RVD have ever been in a movie, much less a starring role. So it will be interesting to see how they do. But of course since they were in the WWE, they probably can hold their own.

Batista and RVD have worked together before in the ring, so hopefully they will have that same connection in the new movie. It will be done filming in less than a month, so Batista will be back in plenty of time for his WWE return in June.

He had mentioned he is feeling better, and his leg is doing just fine. So the movie should not take to much of an effect on him.

No word yet if it is a theatrical release or straight to DVD yet. But since Hollywood is always looking to put out new movies, I would expect a theatrical release myself.
