CBS NCAA Bracket 2012: Bracket-Busting Cinderellas You Should Still Root for
NC State, and Lehigh have pulled off some of the biggest upsets we have seen in the NCAA tournament, but while their success is being celebrated, they have also been a thorn in the side of many March Madness brackets.
But not everybody enjoys a good Cinderella story. Just ask anybody who picks against them.
We've seen so many shocking results this year that by now I've got a feeling that there's not many intact brackets left out there.

So, with no bracket to watch for, why should we be rooting for these Cinderella teams?
Here's a reason or two to cheer on Cinderella this March:
Lehigh Mountain Hawks
Believe it or not, this team has everything that you look for in a squad that can make a serious run.
They've encountered a favorite matchup as a 15-seed, considering Xavier is only 10, and they have to be feeling as confident as ever after knocking off a Duke team many expected to make their own serious run.
This is a team that actually scores with the best in the nation, ranked 28th and averaging 76.2 points per game. That gives them the advantage over Xavier, who scores 71.3 points per game and is ranked 94th in the country.
Why root for the Mountain Hawks? It's easy, not saying that Xavier doesn't care or believe in their team, but you can tell that Lehigh just has that March Madness vibe about them.
They just beat out No. 2-seeded Duke, arguably the biggest program in the country, which means they can beat anyone. Don't be surprised when these guys continue advancing.
Buckle up for the ride.
North Carolina State Wolfpack
Who saw NC State making a Sweet 16 run? Honestly if you did, you may want to quit whatever you are doing and go play the lottery. That was quite a stretch on your part.
What's there to love about the Wolfpack? If you're a fan of the underdogs and the "small program," hop aboard their bandwagon right away.
This is a program that constantly has to battle the very best in the nation, playing in the ACC. Among their conference opponents are powerhouses Duke, North Carolina and Florida State, yet somehow the Wolfpack find a way to rise up out of their shadows and play up to that level.
They're an extremely talented team, averaging 73.4 points per game, 37.2 rebounds per game and ranked 13th in the nation with 16 assist per game.
This is a team that has a legitimate shot going as far as they want, because they are used to playing the big boys.
NC State isn't as much as a Cinderella as it is an excellent sleeper.
