NCAA Scores 2012: Flat First-Round Winners That Will Come Alive
These teams are going to ride by the motto that there is no such thing as a bad win. Yes, they all looked bad in their opener, but that will not carry forth into the second game.
The poor first game may have put these teams under the radar going forth, but they will look a lot better after their next games.

UConn's STACKED Schedule ☠️

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
The Seminoles are much more balanced than they showed on Friday. The fact of the matter is that they came into their first-round game a little iced, having not played since Sunday. It also wouldn't surprise me if they overlooked St. Bonaventure, still riding the high of beating Duke and North Carolina on consecutive days.
That isn't going to be a concern anymore. Cincinnati is a top program, and the Seminoles have now received their hard taste of reality. FSU knows they're not invincible and will come out more focused from it.
On top of all of that, Cincinnati would not have won their own game had Texas not come out incredibly flat in the first half.
The Seminoles are better than they showed. The strong second half that we saw from them will carry over to the game versus the Bearcats.
Baylor
The Bears got a nice gift with Colorado winning the Pac-12 tournament, and then upending UNLV. The fact of the matter is that while the Buffaloes are hot, they're just not a very good basketball team.
Baylor is also used to playing CU, who before this year was a Big XII opponent. That limits the element of surprise, which is a big part of the NCAA tournament.
The Bears have four players at over 11 points a game and another just under 10. That will be too much for the inconsistent Buffaloes to overcome.
Baylor is not a team that will go on a run here, but the stars aligned well for a run to the tournament's second week.
Murray State
Unlike the other teams, Murray State was flat throughout their game, but still won with absolutely no problem. The Racers are a one-loss team that was an absolute juggernaut all season. They are grossly under seeded as a No. 6, and Marquette will receive the punishment for it.
The Golden Eagles are just too inconsistent. They have been all year, and Murray State will bury them for it.
