NFL Mock Draft: Matt Miller's Middle First-Round Picks
In the midst of free-agency frenzy, Matt Miller’s draft board changes more than Peyton Manning’s play calls at the line of scrimmage.
Miller sorts out the mid-first round picks, from 11-20, and as you’ll see, there is an abundance of talent for NFL teams to acquire.
One of the unifying themes from selections 11-20 is that franchises such as the Chiefs, Cardinals, Bengals and Bears all need offensive line help.
According to the draft guru, Stanford’s David DeCastro and Jonathan Martin should have an immediate impact as rookies. Iowa’s Riley Reiff and Georgia’s Cordy Glenn will also be ripe for the taking in the middle of the first round, and Miller highlights their likely landing spots.
Additionally, the Bears’ acquisition of Brandon Marshall creates an interesting ripple effect and opportunity for teams selecting after Chicago to land a stud receiver in the 2012 NFL draft.
As free agents continue to sign, Matt Miller’s draftboard will no doubt evolve. Stay locked on Bleacher Report’s NFL Draft 365 for updates on the ever-changing draft scenarios.
