NCAA Bracket 2012 Predictions: Teams Experts Are Disrespecting

Alex KayMar 15, 2012

The 2012 NCAA Tournament is just about to kick off and most brackets need to be filled out and handed in by noon EDT today in order to qualify.

If you have yet to see or print a bracket, click here for a complete printable one for the 2012 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. When filling it out, you need to make sure you give a modicum of respect to some of the top teams that fought like hell to get a top seed during the regular season and won’t stop now that it is March Madness.

Here’s a look at two teams that experts believe will fall early, but you shouldn’t.

Syracuse

The Orange are fighting an uphill battle without Fab Melo, who has been disqualified by ‘Cuse for the tournament. However, they still have an excellent coach and a ton of experienced collegiate talent and future NBA stars on the roster.

This team suffered a cut before the rounds even started, but it will heal, these guys will rally and they will go deep.

Baylor

The Bears had an unfortunate draw with Kentucky in their region, who many feel is invincible and every single ESPN analyst has in the Final Four.

This doesn’t mean a damn to the Bears and it shouldn’t to you.

Baylor is a good program with solid players like Quincy Miller, Perry Jones III and Pierre Jackson all ready to step up and make a run.

It’s likely they meet Kentucky in the Elite Eight and do battle for the right to go to the Final Four. That match would be up for grabs and anyone could come out on top in a dogfight.
