WWE News: Major Update on the Match Card for WrestleMania 28

WrestleMania XXVIII is just 18 short days away, and wrestling fans are eagerly awaiting the biggest event in professional wrestling.

With the match between John Cena and The Rock being the focus of the WWE and arguably being the biggest match in WWE history, Vince McMahon wants to make sure the match goes off without a hitch.

New details have been released on the card of WrestleMania XXVIII and other specific information pertaining to the match lineup. According to wrestlezone.com via PWInsider.com (click link at your own risk; may contain malware), WWE officials are ensuring that The Rock is given as much time as he needs for backstage promos leading up to the match against John Cena.

It is also being reported that approximately 25 to 30 minutes are being set aside for The Undertaker vs. Triple H, The Rock vs. John Cena and CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho Matches.

According to both sites, there is speculation that CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho will start the pay-per-view, The Undertaker vs. Triple H will be placed in the middle and, for obvious reasons, The Rock vs. John Cena will be placed at the end.

It is being reported that only seven matches will take place for WrestleMania XXVIII. From the information above, it would be difficult to place more matches on the card due to the huge push that The Rock and John Cena match has been given for the pay-per-view.
