Rock Concert/ Rap Battle
Yes, folks. You read that correctly. The war of words between the People’s Champion and John Cena that has satisfied even the hardest of the hardcore fans will not dissolve into a Rock vs. Rap battle in the city that holds the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
While the classic editions of this idea have been funny, the WWE is a different place now than it was when The Rock was doing his funny songs before. If the WWE forces Dwayne Johnson to watch his tongue for the PG crowd, his song will be as terrible as his promos.
As much as most fans don’t want to hear this, the reason Cena is destroying The Rock on the mic is because Johnson doesn’t know how to work under the PG banner. Cena works it to perfection.
Undertaker Talks to HBK
With Shawn Michaels involved in the match between Triple H and Undertaker at WrestleMania as a special guest referee, the convoluted storyline was just given another twist when HBK hit Raw.
As much as the fans love the old stars of the company, there comes a time in every career to call it quits. That’s where HBK is. Instead of being involved with the Undertaker, Michaels should be in the woods hunting and out of our hair.
Since Undertaker’s fate sits in the hands of HBK, I assume tonight’s Raw will be all about how Undertaker barely beat Triple H and barely beat Shawn Michaels. No matter what is said, it will be very slow and very drawn out.
CM Punk’s Payback to Y2J
After a well-booked tag match between CM Punk and Sheamus vs. Chris Jericho and Daniel Bryan, it’s time for Punk and Y2J to cut another promo on each other.
WrestleMania is right around the corner and the duo has only really had one full-out verbal jousting match. At this point, they should be cutting promos on each other in the same fashion of The Rock and John Cena.
With Jericho ending their on-air battle last week by holding up CM Punk’s WWE title, it's Punk’s turn to take the feud by the horns; he should leave Y2J reeling this week.
Guest Host James Roday
With the USA Network being the host of Raw every week, the WWE and the TV station have worked it out that the lead actor on the station’s hit show Psych, James Roday, would be this week’s host.
I know most people have no idea who this is or what he will do on the show, but worry not, he has been relegated to working a spot with the Miz. With all of that being said, it feels like Miz has become the Eric Young of WWE, but no one knows it’s a joke.
The idea of Miz working with a guest star may actually be funny, but odds are it will be an absolute train wreck. So either way, it’s worth a watch!
