Hardcore Brackets 2012 on TruTV: Start Time, Channel, TV Schedule and More

Following Selection Sunday announcements, college basketball fans can get all the advice they need on filling out their NCAA tournament bracket by tuning into the Hardcore Brackets show on TruTV. 

Penciling in (or with pen if you're the bold kind) March madness brackets is always fun, even if you don't know much about the sport. 

It's great for the office, with friends and/or family. It gives you an excuse to watch sports at work and possibly win prizes. 

To increase your chances of winning, though, you'll need to study up on the teams, and that's exactly what Hardcore Brackets is all about.

That being said, let's take a look at some specifics of this new show. 

When: Sunday, March 11 at 7 p.m. ET

Hosts and Analysts 

Selection committee chairman Jeff Hathaway and vice chair Mike Bobinski, who is also the athletic director at Xavier. Bobinski will be in charge next season. 

Hathaway, who is in his fifth year on the committee, said via NCAA.com that this show will be about telling fans how the whole process of picking teams works.

We want to explain why teams were selected and seeded as reflected in the bracket and elaborate on the procedures and real-life road blocks that arise during the course of the bracketing process.

This is great for all fans because not many know exactly what goes through the minds of the selection committee. 

In addition to Hathaway and Bobinski, Greg Gumbel, Greg Anthony, Seth Davis, Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith will be on the show talking college hoops as well.
