WWE News: The Rock and John Cena Reportedly Not Too Fond of Each Other
If you don’t like someone you work with, chances are that you’re going to find a happy medium between being a complete ass to that person and hanging out with him on the weekends.
Instead of being unprofessional and treating that person like crap, you’re probably going to be as cordial as possible, right?
Apparently, that’s what’s going on with the two major superstars involved in the WWE’s biggest feud, The Rock and John Cena.

"Regarding the relationship between Dwayne Johnson and John Cena behind the scenes, while the two are cordial with each another, they are not the best of friends. There is genuine tension between both stars, which was said to have intensified in the weeks leading up to Survivor Series.
One former WWE insider who has worked with both Johnson and Cena said of their relationship: “They aren’t buddy-buddy, that’s for sure. I’ve heard they’ve disagreed about a lot of things. They aren’t big fans of one another personally, but they are willing to carry on with business.”
"
To be honest, I really don’t care. I could give two craps if The Rock likes Cena or Cena likes The Rock.
They could legitimately beat the crap out of each other backstage after every promo they have together, and I still would not care…as long as it doesn’t screw up their feud on TV.
The genuine animosity that appears to be there between The Rock and Cena has made for some fantastic verbal sparring over the last couple of weeks, and I’ve enjoyed Monday Night Raw more than I have in quite a while.
It has to stay that way. Cena and The Rock can’t cross that line and go off-script.
We’ve all read or heard stories about legit heat between two stars resulting in real-life brawls backstage, and if The Rock and Cena really can’t stand each other, there is indeed a chance—however slight it may be—that something goes down between the two.
That being said, I don’t think it will.
The Rock and Cena are two of the biggest stars in wrestling history, they’re professionals and even if they aren’t best buds, they’re going to keep their problems where they belong: on TV.
In other Rock news, there is said to be some disappointment over the low rating for the episode of Raw that featured his TV return.
