"MLB 12 The Show" Player Ratings Have Yankees Stacked Beyond Comprehension
If winning were as easy as in a video game, the New York Yankees would go undefeated.
Whoever concocted the player ratings in MLB 12: The Show had to be a Yankees fan. Sure, on paper in real life they look stacked beyond belief, but in Sony’s newest video game they’re unbeatable.
According to Pasta Padre, as a team, New York is ranked as the best ball club overall as well as first in pitching, defense and fourth in hitting.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
I’m shocked that they’re not ranked first in hitting as well. Yanks fans obviously aren’t complaining about the gift of virtual domination, but not everyone is pleased.
One gamer pondered via Twitter:
"Yankees are ranked #1 on MLB the show, I'm still trying to figure out why....

In an attempt to put just how stacked the Yankees are in perspective, here’s a video clip showing each team’s top nine players:
Alex Rodriguez—the 14-time All-Star, 10-time Silver Slugger, two-time Gold Glove and three-time MVP—is nowhere to be found.
Yeah, I know why he’s not in the Yankees’ top-nine. He had a down year due to injury, he’s not getting any younger, but the fact is that he’d still be one of the most talented players on every other team in the majors.
In pinstripes, though, he’s not even on the radar.
If you’re playing against a friend in MLB 12 The Show, you better either pick the Yankees or make up a rule on the spot that you aren’t allowed to pick the Yankees.
Because if you don’t, you’re done.
