With the current roster for the WWE being dangerously thin over the past few weeks, the company moved some of its younger talent from NXT to Friday Night Smackdown to help fill some of holes caused by recent injuries.
From Wrestling News Source:
It appears that Darren Young, Derek Bateman and Percy Watson have all been officially added to the Smackdown roster page. It's unclear as to whether the WWE has big plans involving the three Superstars or not but you should be able to expect to see the three Superstars on Television more often now.
For a lot of WWE fans, the names Bateman, Young and Watson are relativity new to most, as they spent most of their careers on NXT and not on one of the main television shows like Raw or Smackdown.
As a former member of the Nexus in 2010, Young has seen the most screen time on the two main shows for the WWE as he was a member of the stable until being exiled after losing to John Cena the night after SummerSlam.
On the other hand, Bateman and Watson spent their careers on different seasons of the NXT program as they were only featured in dark matches before the most recent call up to Smackdown.
With the trio coming to Smackdown, I think they could have a good impact on the show as the three superstars have been very promising during their time on NXT over the past two years.
But with the WWE, they will most likely become new candidates to be thrown into squash matches against some of the bigger superstars on Smackdown like Cody Rhodes, Wade Barrett and Ted DiBiase.
So, Bleachers, what do you expect to come from these three new superstars jumping from NXT to Smackdown in the coming weeks and months?
