WWE News: Did Sean "X-Pac" Waltman Turn Down THQ to Be in WWE '13?
According to gamebandits.com via TWNP News, THQ has reached out to a few former WWE superstars about being featured in the next installment of WWE's console video games.
Sean Waltman, better known to wrestling fans as X-Pac, has reportedly been contacted about being featured in next year's version of the game:
"They mentioned Sean “X-Pac” Waltman as one of the names who THQ reached out to and reportedly, Waltman was insulted by the offer.

The fact that Waltman may have been approached may indicate that WWE wants to do a Degeneration-X stable within the game.
With Road Dogg already working backstage for WWE, these days the only other person who would need to be looked at is Billy Gunn a.k.a. Kip James in TNA.
If Waltman was offended by the offer and did indeed turn down THQ, I have to ask why?
Was it not enough money?
Did you not want to be associated with a WWE video game?
Are you going back to TNA?
Waltman is well known around the world as being a member of both Degeneration-X and the New World Order in WCW, but he was never one of the top names in either company in terms of being a World Champion.
Even Wrestling Society X did not see him as a viable option to hold the title, which is why he lost the inaugural title match to Vampiro, although he never really had a chance to go for it again since WSX closed its doors after ten episodes.
If I was Waltman, I would be jumping at the chance to be featured in the game simply because he is not the hot commodity he once was and anything he can do at this point to stay relevant, other than having TMZ show your mugshot, is good.
