MLB 2k12: 2K Sports Releases Delicious Demo Ahead of Full Release
Have I ever mentioned how much I love technology? The waiting for March 6th just got a little easier as 2K Sports released a demo of the upcoming MLB 2K12.
I know what it's like to pine for a game. I remember waiting for Triple Play to drop on the Genesis. Hell, I can even recall the anticipation of Bases Loaded on the NES.
The days of having only your daydreams and old copies of dated sports games to play are over. You can now head over to the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360 and PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3 and get the latest demo of MLB2K12.

According to GameZone, that demo consists of three innings of World Series re-run baseball as you play as either the St. Louis Cardinals or Texas Rangers.
Rangers fans can get just a slight bit of revenge with three innings of dominance over the Red Birds.
This is also a great warm up for what will be the usual mania following the million dollar challenge. The perfect game challenge gets a bit of a reboot as the owners of the top-eight perfect games thrown will meet in a live tournament.
That means all you super geeks and über nerds have a head start over the competition that will wait until March 6th to get the actual game.
I count myself among you dregs of society that will stay indoors and play a quick three innings. There is nothing better than a new baseball video game, and the 2K series has been among the best in history.
As you can see by the video, this game is gorgeous to look at and gives you the real feel of playing nine in your favorite ball park.
The demo will be just fine to satiate me until I finally get the best baseball game around in my hot little hands.
