WWE News: Who Will Lead Team Laurinaitis and Team Long at WrestleMania 28?
John Laurinaitis and Teddy Long are currently battling for control of the WWE, and something’s got to give.
Eventually, either Laurinaitis or Long will be in charge of both Raw and SmackDown, and by the looks of things, they’re headed for some sort of match at WrestleMania 28. Not Long and Laurinaitis themselves, but their representatives.
So, just who will those representatives be?

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Here is the most recent update on the direction of the Long/Laurinaitis feud, courtesy of WrestlingInc.com:
"The John Laurinaitis - Teddy Long feud is currently slated to lead to some sort of match at WrestleMania, likely a tag team match featuring a team headed by Laurinaitis and David Otunga to face one headed by Long and Santino Marella.
"
Well, I think that’s rather obvious.
With Santino as the assistant to Long and Otunga serving as Laurinaitis’ legal counsel, it was pretty much a given that these two would be involved in some sort of three-on-three or four-on-four match at WrestleMania 28.
That’s all fine and dandy, but at least so far, Otunga and Santino have been at the forefront of this feud, and I’m not exactly thrilled with that. Santino’s not bad because he’s hilarious when the material is right, but Otunga as the leader of Team Laurinaitis (a.k.a. Team Heels)?
Eh, I could do without it.
I like Otunga as a character, but for wrestling purposes, the WWE needs to get more heels more involved with this Long/Laurinaitis rivalry so we can get a quality match at Mania. Adding Christian and Alberto Del Rio to the heel side would be a smart move, but we need more than that.
The only baby face who seems to be firmly on Long’s side right now is Santino, so perhaps we should see another couple of baby faces—R-Truth and Kofi Kingston, maybe?—join Santino on Team Long.
We know that the likely outcome of a Team Long vs. Team Laurinaitis match is Mr. Excitement’s team winning, but that doesn’t mean we still don’t want to see a quality match.
