May 31, 2018

With the latest edition of the MLB 2K series due out on March 6, fans of both baseball and fans of video games are extremely excited for this release.

At a price of $59.99, it’s smart to download the demo and make sure you like the game, but you will quickly realize that this is a must-own.

All of the following additions and revamps will make the 2012 edition of this game the best in the history of the franchise. This simulation will be off the charts.

Enhanced My Player Feature

One of the best features of this game and of the franchise is the My Player portion of the game. You as the fan can build a legacy as the player you could never be. This year, it’s even more fun.

Although your athletic career was ended prematurely when you tore your ego on the lack of talent you had, this is your chance to break the records that baseball fans hold so dear. The nostalgia aspect is a huge factor in this mode.

With even more control over your game via the revamped throwing system, the My Player feature will be a huge selling point of the amazing game.

Revamped Throwing System

With the help of Kate Upton, the good people at MLB 2K12 have revamped the way we think of pitching in baseball simulations. The new controls are supposed to help the player feel more in control of the pitches.

The game still has the conventional single-button method for those stubborn gamers unwilling to change with the times, but the flick system has been greatly improved.

With far more control over your players, there is nothing that can stop this game from becoming an instant favorite for all fans because of just how easy it is.

The Perfect Game Challenge

With another release of the best baseball game on the market comes the Perfect Game Challenge. This year, there is a catch, though.

Operation Sports analyzes the new method to winning the million dollars:

"

The Perfect Game Challenge is back and better than ever. The new format will utilize a dynamic and universal leaderboard that ranks the top eight perfect games thrown in MLB 2K12, based on pitcher rating and the opponent faced. At the end of the competition, the top eight competitors will face each other in a live $1 million tournament!

"

Now, with a certain transparency to how the challenge is created and how the winner is truly decided, the hope that a normal fan can really win is as realistic as ever.
