WWE News: Latest Update on the Decision by the Board of Directors This Morning
After the recent confrontations between general managers John Laurinaitis and Theodore Long in the past week, the WWE Board of Directors leveled a decision Tuesday morning on a change in leadership for next week’s Raw and Smackdown.
While speculation ran wild throughout the night of what the decision would be, the Board of Directors choose this morning that Long and Laurinaitis will swap shows next week.

"In an effort to help determine which General Manager should control both shows, the WWE Board of Directors has decided to switch control of each show next week. SmackDown GM Theodore Long will take control of Monday night’s Raw while Raw GM John Laurinaitis takes the reins of next Friday’s SmackDown.
"
With Long taking over Raw and Laurinaitis taking over Smackdown, I think this is a good move to keep their feud fresh as we get closer to their rumored winner-takes-all match at WrestleMania.
Since his first appearance last summer, I’ve been on the fence about Laurinaitis. However, it seems as though he’s started to grasp the on-screen heel authority figure role pretty well in recent weeks.
As for Long on Smackdown, I’ve never really had a problem with him being in control of the blue brand since taking over the position in 2004 from Kurt Angle.
If the winner-takes-all match does indeed happen this April in Miami then I would like to see Long win the right to be GM for both Raw and Smackdown, but Laurinaitis will probably win the match at WrestleMania.
Before we get to WrestleMania, we’ll just have to see how well both Raw and Smackdown turn out next week as the general managers move to their opposite show.
So, Bleachers, what do you think about the decision this morning and the impact that it will have in the next month on the road to WrestleMania?
