WWE Raw SuperShow: 6 Questions for Tonight's Show from Portland

Chris HumphreyJun 7, 2018

With The Rock returning to the WWE for the first time since Rock-Bottoming John Cena at Survivor Series in November, The Great One will be in Portland tonight to confront John Cena after his damning promo last week on Raw SuperShow.

In addition to the show between The Rock and Cena, we will likely see another confrontation tonight between the two men in the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania, new No. 1 contender Chris Jericho and champion CM Punk.

With the countdown down to 33 days from the biggest event of the year in professional wrestling, the following slide show will take a look at the biggest questions for tonight’s edition of Raw SuperShow as we move closer to the end of the Road to WrestleMania.

Eve Torres

1 of 6

After making her intentions known with regard to Zack Ryder at the top of the show last week, Eve was left crying in the ring after John Cena told the former Divas champion what he thought of her actions.

Even though I’m not really interested in her heel turn at this point, I am interested to see if we get any new names trending on Twitter like "Hoeski" last week during Raw SuperShow.

R-Truth and Kofi Kingston

2 of 6

With a new partner, as Evan Bourne sits out another suspension, Kofi Kingston joined forces with R-Truth to defeat the WWE tag team champions, Primo and Epico, last Monday in a non-title victory.

Will the new combination of Kingston and Truth continue to find success and possibly be bound for tag team gold in the coming weeks after upsetting the champs?

Daniel Bryan and Sheamus

3 of 6

With the two young superstars meeting at WrestleMania for the World Heavyweight Championship, Sheamus and Daniel Bryan both had success last week, as The Great White defeated The Miz and Mark Henry.

For the champion, Bryan defeated Mark Henry and went to draw with CM Punk on the special live edition of SmackDown last Tuesday.

The question I have for the WWE is: Why are Bryan and Sheamus fighting other people on Raw and SmackDown when they should be building up their match for WrestleMania?

Chris Jericho

4 of 6

During last Monday’s battle royal to determine the No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship, Chris Jericho earned the right to challenge CM Punk at WrestleMania after being eliminated by the WWE champion during the Raw Elimination Chamber match.

With the rumored rematch between Punk and Daniel Bryan tonight, will we see Y2J insert himself into the main event and possibly cost the WWE champion the match on Raw?

The Undertaker and Triple H

5 of 6

After last week’s confrontation between The Undertaker and Triple H on Raw SuperShow, the Phenom got the affirmative answer that he wanted, and the two WWE legends will face off one more time at WrestleMania inside Hell in a Cell on April 1st.

With their WrestleMania set for Miami, will we hear anything from Triple H or The Undertaker tonight during Raw SuperShow with Hell in a Cell on the horizon?

The Rock and John Cena

6 of 6

As previously mentioned, The Rock will be making his first appearance in front of a WWE crowd tonight since leaving John Cena lying on the mat after a Rock Bottom at Survivor Series last fall.

After the promo blasting Rock on his absence from the WWE, will any fans in attendance tonight get behind John Cena, who has never left the company for the bright lights of Hollywood?
