WWE News: Haters, Know Your Role and Shut Your Mouth

I was never a real big Rock fan in his original run. I found him entertaining to watch, but most of what I found entertaining about him were his antics behind the mic. Jericho and the Rock lambasting Stephanie McMahon together is still one of my favorite moments of the Attitude era.

The Rock has returned to work Wrestlemania. Low and behold, we have people sniveling about him taking a spot on the card that some current WWE star could use.

Wait a freaking minute. What?

Do any of these pencil-neck geeks really think this argument will fly? Get your panties out of the wad they are in, and use your heads please. The Rock being on the Wrestlemania card will bring in more viewers.

What WWE wrestler not currently on the Wrestlemania card can claim to do that? Methinks none.

The fact remains that the Rock, HHH and Undertaker, whether we care about them or not, helped push the WWE to enormous profits. Wrestling is a business. The Rock is good for the WWE, even in limited doses.

Do you really think the Rock needs the WWE to pay him checks anymore? The Rock might soak in the limelight from the attention he gets, but he IS a star. He deserves the attention he gets.

It is not like he is making B-movies produced by WWE studios. And if he drags in some viewers who know him by film, isn't that a good thing? Is more money in the WWE bank that bad of an idea when their numbers have fallen?

Please stop sipping Hater-Aid out of your kiddie cup,
