WWE News: Big Update on Kharma, Is She Ready to Return to the Ring?
Beth Phoenix has dominated the WWE Divas division for quite some time now, and many wrestling fans believe that only one woman can knock her off her pedestal: Kharma.ย
The woman formerly known as Awesome Kong made her WWE return at the Royal Rumble last month just weeks after giving birth, leading to speculation that she was coming back full-time for a dream feud and WrestleMania match with Beth.ย
Kharma hasnโt been on WWE TV since her Royal Rumble appearance, however, and we now know why.ย

From the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via SEScoops.com):ย
"WWE has not followed up on Kharmaโs appearance last month at the Royal Rumble because she hasnโt fully recovered from giving birth on December 31, 2011 and isnโt ready to work a full-time schedule. She competed in the Rumble Match because creative felt it would create a good story since it wasnโt expected.ย
"
While most of us thought that this was the case, we finally have confirmation.ย
Kharmaโs appearance in the Royal Rumble was short-lived, and she didnโt take any bumps during the match, making her participation in the match much less risky than a full-time return would. Thereโs absolutely no reason for Kharma to get in the ring until sheโs 100 percent healthy and able to perform like the Kharma weโve grown accustomed to seeing.ย
Unfortunately for we WWE fans, this probably means that the dream match between Kharma and Beth that we had penciled in for WrestleMania isnโt going to happen.ย
I have no idea if the creative team had even planned having those two feud with each other in the first place, but if that was the case, then this news definitely throws a wrench into those plans.ย
Aside from bringing in someone like Trish Stratus to face Beth, the only major Divas match that would draw at WrestleMania 28 would be Beth taking on her friend Natalya.ย
Natalya, however, is saddled with that terrible farting gimmick, and it certainly doesnโt look like sheโs going to get a push any time soon.ย
Though Kharma isnโt ready to get back in the ring yet, Iโll hold out hope for the slim chance of her being ready by April 1.
