WWE News: CM Punk Appears on TMZ Live to Address Twitter War with Chris Brown
A headline that I never thought I’d see is making its way around the Internet: Chris Brown vs. CM Punk.
As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, the R&B singer and the WWE Champion have found themselves entangled in an intense Twitter war after Punk tweeted this on Monday:
"I would like @chrisbrown fight somebody that can defend themselves. Me curb stomping that turd would be a #wrestlemania moment."

Punk appeared on TMZ Live earlier today to address his Twitter beef with Brown, and in true Punk fashion, he had some very interesting things to say.
Punk admitted that he never expected much to come out of his tweet, saying, “I started the whole thing as a goof, and he really took offense to it.”
He did, however, take a more serious tone as show host Harvey Levin began to ask Punk more questions: “I’m all for second chances…but this guy is clearly not sorry about what he did...He picked up trash on the highway. I don’t know what, beyond that, he’s done to try to make amends.”
Holy crap. If I didn’t like Punk already, this made me respect the guy even more.
While Punk did state that he has no interest in wrestling Brown at WrestleMania (because of the payday Brown would get out of it) and that WWE officials probably wouldn’t go for it anyway, I absolutely loved the way that Punk made it clear he has a problem with domestic violence toward women.
“I don’t want to fight Chris Brown at WrestleMania…I want to kick Chris Brown’s ass,” Punk told Levin.
Asked what type of punishment Brown should have gotten for his assault on fellow singer Rihanna three years ago, Punk replied, “At least jail.”
Well, we all know that the law played out in Brown’s favor and had him avoid jail time, but I’d love to see Brown try to do to Punk what he did to Rihanna.
Something tells me the result would be Brown going to sleep.
