WWE News: Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle Weigh in on the CM Punk/Chris Brown Feud

Gone Baby GoneJun 7, 2018

As much as this CM Punk/Chris Brown Twitter war has been entertaining, to say the least, it's also been based on some real issues.

Over the course of a week, we have seen everyone from TMZ to the dirt-sheets covering this story. Turns out they are not the only ones that have been keeping tabs on this war of words, as fellow wrestlers Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle have both decided to put in their two cents.

According to wrestlezone.com, Y2J tweeted the following:

"

Glad to see @cmpunk wasting his time threatening rappers. I don't care about anybody else's business except mine-which is winning at WM28.

"

Meanwhile, they also reported that Kurt Angle had something to say:

"Late last night, TNA Impact Wrestling star Kurt Angle posted the following on Twitter, in response to the ongoing CM Punk and Chris Brown war of words. Angle later deleted the tweet:

"I agree that C.M. Punk is right about Chris Brown," Angle wrote. "But why are you involved? For publicity? Punk talks a good game. But for what? More Twitter..."

"

Needless to say, Jericho was just adding fuel to the fire for their on-air feud. However, Angle genuinely seemed to have something to say about both men. In the end, he must have thought better of it since he decided to remove it from his Twitter feed.

Now take this for what you will—wrestlinginc.com reports Chris Brown is finished with this battle, as he tweeted:

"

Note:today will be the last day I bring @cmpunk existence up! The confrontations that people continuously bring my way are very amusing. Cuz honestly, that [expletive] is too time consuming to argue wit every person who has their own issues to deal with!"

"

In the end, I can understand why Brown would throw in the towel, as wrestling fans can be both passionate and tiring all wrapped in one.
