WWE Wrestlemania XXVIII: Why Randy Orton Will Be Competing for the World Title
Mark my words: On April 1, Randy Orton will compete against Sheamus and Daniel Bryan for the World Heavyweight Championship.
The above statement may sound like a petty fantasy prediction, but it is near-factual. The only obstacle standing between Orton and Wrestlemania is his pending concussion.
On February 27, Orton's condition will be re-diagnosed. If Orton is considered able to make a recovery come April's big event, the World Heavyweight Championship bout between Sheamus and Daniel Bryan will become a Triple Threat Match.

Now, as to why this will happen. It's simple: Orton is money. Sheamus and Daniel Bryan could no doubt put on a legitimate Wrestlemania main event, but the two lack the drawing power that Orton has. Bryan has only been in the main event scene for a few months, and Sheamus just recently broke out of his major slump.
The two future stars lack significant appeal with fans, as the lack of vibrancy with audiences indicates. Bryan is only getting by with cheap heat, and Sheamus still hasn't gotten the crowd entirely behind him.
Orton would make up for that. In order for the World TItle match to compete with other huge draws in Punk-Jericho, HHH-Taker and Rock-Cena, it needs the name-power of Randy Orton. Otherwise, the fans just won't care as much, spoiling the credibility of the match as well as Sheamus' moment of victory (Sheamus is winning at 'Mania, regardless of Orton's inclusion—no discussion).
Now, how would the story of this all come together? Again, it's simple: Daniel Bryan concussed Orton. Once the Viper returns, expect his full focus to shift towards attacking the Vegan.
After Orton's return and a series of beatings at the hands of the Apex Predator, I can see Teddy Long scheduling the match that Orton and Bryan were supposed to have before the Elimination Chamber PPV, with the stipulation being if Orton wins, he gets included in the World Heavyweight Championship match as Wrestlemania XXVIII.
See? Simple. Sheamus will still get his 'Mania moment, but now the match can enjoy the drawing power of Randy Orton, similar to how Chris Benoit enjoyed the drawing power of Shawn Michaels in his World Title match at Wrestlemania XX.
So to reiterate, on April 1 in Miami, I gauran-damn-tee it that your World Title match will see Daniel Bryan defending against the Viper, Randy Orton and the Great White, Sheamus.
