WWE News: Future Plans Involving Zack Ryder and Eve Torres Revealed

This past Monday on the February 20 edition of Raw, we bore witness to the inherent wickedness of Eve Torres.

As she told the Bella twins at the outset of the show, she never had any intention of pursuing an intimate relationship with "The Broski."

To make matters worse, she duped Zack Ryder into falling for her for the sole purpose of "using" him.

Suffice it to say, Eve's abrupt heel turn shed light on her sociopathic tendencies and total disregard for all that Ryder had done for her.

Primarily, he sacrificed life and limb for the diva, which was a direct result of him wanting to protect her from the destructive clutches of Kane. One example that stands out is when Ryder feverishly attempted to change the tire on his rental car so he could drive Eve away from the stalking "Big Red Machine."

Now Ryder's body is in a crumpled heap after being annihilated by Kane on numerous occasions—the last of which saw him go flying off the stage in a wheelchair.

Fortunately, however, after all the physical and emotional torture Ryder has been through, he will soon return to Raw.

That is, once his innumerable "injuries" heal—which should take about another week in storyline terms—the odds are Ryder will be righting the wrongs that have befallen him.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter—via 411Mania.com—the following plans are in store for "The Long Island Iced-Z" and his former squeeze:

"Last night on Raw, Eve Torres turned heel, noting that she used Zack Ryder to get to John Cena. The plan, as of now, is to pair Eve with a heel superstar to feud with Ryder once he returns. Ryder would also be paired with a diva to counter Eve. The name going around for that position is Layla."

Common sense would dictate that Kane be the "heel superstar" who is paired with Eve.

From a storyline standpoint, it would be logical as well. For instance, it could be revealed that Eve had been an informant for her "real" boyfriend Kane all along, using Ryder as a pawn to attain information on John Cena. This would also explain how Kane always managed to find Ryder and brutalize him.

In the end, though, Ryder must prevail by exacting vengeance; otherwise, he'll have no credibility left after being made to look like a patsy who is unable to fend for himself.
