WWE News: Big Update on Eve's Heel Turn and Plans for a Feud with Zack Ryder

Drake OzFeb 22, 2012

After months of rumors making their way around the Internet, it finally happened: Eve Torres turned heel on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

During a show-opening promo, Eve revealed that she was never friends with Zack Ryder and that she was just using him to get to John Cena.

This resulted in a chorus of boos from the live crowd and that unforgettable “Hoeski” chant, and also turned Eve into the WWE’s most hated Diva in mere minutes.

Now, we have major news on why Eve went to the dark side and how her beef with Ryder will play out going forward.

From F4Wonline.com (via WrestleZone.com):

"

Creative plans have been discussed for the now-heel Eve Torres to continue her feud with Zack Ryder, according to F4Wonline.com.

Torres would be paired with a heel WWE Superstar and would feud with Ryder and a WWE Diva. As of now the most popular name that has been suggested to be paired with Ryder is Layla.

"

I never thought I’d say this, but I actually really like this idea.

Despite the fact that Eve is one of the worst actors in WWE history, she’s going to get major heat for being a bit of tramp and using Ryder, so having her use that heat to help Ryder get even more over is definitely a smart decision.

The most logical booking of this feud would be to have Eve align herself with Kane and reveal that she was working with him to get to Cena and try to make him “embrace the hate.”

After all, it’s pretty clear that the rivalry between Kane and Ryder is far from over, so pairing Eve up with anybody but Kane makes little to no sense.

You have Eve align herself with Kane, and when Ryder returns from injury, he goes crazy on “The Big Red Monster” because of both the emotional and the physical injuries he’s suffered over the last couple of months.

This would lead to an Eve/Kane pairing feuding with Ryder and a Diva. I like the idea of using Layla for this spot, but if Kharma isn’t going to be facing Beth Phoenix at WrestleMania 28, I think she’d be a perfect fit for this feud.

Eve would probably pee in her pants if it was her and Kane taking on Ryder and Kharma in a WrestleMania bout, though putting Layla in that role works for me as well because it gives her a high-profile storyline upon her return.

Regardless of exactly what goes down, though, I think we’ll see either Kane (with Eve) vs. Ryder (with a Diva) in a singles match or Eve and Kane vs. Ryder and a Diva (in a tag team match) at the biggest pay-per-view of the year.
