Robert Griffin III Video: Watch RG3's Adidas Commercial Debut
Robert Griffin III made headlines this week saying he doesn't expect to throw at the 2012 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
He will run in Indianapolis though, and, according to Will Brinson, today he told Dan Patrick that there is a chance of him running a sub-4.4 in the 40-yard dash.
Regardless of whether he pulls that off or not, he'll be doing his running in a fresh pair of Adidas kicks.
The company and future NFL star announced today via Pro Football Talk that RG3 is now part of the Adidas family. As they put it, they're "all in" with the Heisman Trophy winner.
He joins the likes of Reggie Bush, Mario Williams and Eric Berry on the list of NFL players signed with Adidas.
RG3 captured the nation this season with his electrifying play each and every Saturday, and will look to do so on Sundays for the foreseeable future.
The Baylor quarterback is arguably the most talked about prospect in the 2012 draft class. Although many expect Stanford's Andrew Luck to be the No. 1 overall pick, it is RG3 who currently has the most intrigue.
He finished the season stronger than any player in the nation, took home nearly every award possible and could easily hear his name called only minutes after Luck's in April's draft.
Expect to see Adidas push hard with their RG3 line and, as Darren Rovell already pointed out, don't be surprised if they come out with a sock line tailored preference.
