WWE Elimination Chamber 2012: John Cena Thinking WrestleMania, Not Kane
The WWE Elimination Chamber is one of the premiere events in all of WWE, but you can’t help but think about the future while watching Sunday night.
WrestleMania may not be until April 1st, but the anticipation is already reaching dizzying levels. There are plenty of storylines revolving around all of the top superstars, but nothing is bigger than John Cena vs. The Rock. Considering the event will be in The Rock’s home city of Miami, his return to the sport is going to be nothing short of legendary.
With that in mind, Cena has to go into the match with a ton of momentum. Nobody wants to see Cena limp in to the most talked-about bout in the last five-plus years.

Cena is scheduled to meet Kane in an ambulance match on Sunday as a bit of a sideshow to the main events in the cage. It should be bloody, physical and feature some sort of stupid guest appearance from Zack Ryder.
The creative team wants to keep Cena on the back burner for now, and they can do so by ending the awkward beef he currently has with Kane. It’s no secret that Kane is nothing more than a pawn for more popular fighters to conquer, and I think tonight is going to bring about an absolutely dominating performance by Cena.
Assuming the creative team behind the scenes is prepared to start the hype machine for WrestleMania with Cena after tonight, what better way to kick it off than an absolute massacre. I’m talking an ending where Kane has to go into that ambulance and drive to the hospital for treatment afterwards.
Good vs. evil has been the angle for this weak feud, but all of the doubts about who is the superior wrestler will be put to bed tonight.
Let the countdown to Cena vs. The Rock begin!
