WWE Elimination Chamber Predictions: 3 Title Matches Plus an Ambulance Match

Kyle SchadlerJun 7, 2018

WWE presents the Elimination Chamber, live on pay-per-view tonight.

The Road to WrestleMania officially started at the Royal Rumble and this is the last PPV before the big event.

After tonight, WrestleMania XXVIII will begin to take shape.

This event will see three titles on the line as the Divas, world heavyweight and WWE champions must defend their titles.

Sheamus will be choosing which title he wants to go for after the two chamber matches and the WWE Universe could very well find out who he chooses tonight.

Then there’s the ambulance match, but we all know who’s going to win that.

Much like the Royal Rumble, expect some random matches thrown in to fill out the card.

Here are the four scheduled matches and who I think will come out on top!

Ambulance Match: Kane vs. John Cena

1 of 4

When Kane returned late last year, no one expected him to after John Cena.

Kane attacked the face of the WWE because he wanted to “embrace the hate” that he receives from the WWE Universe.

All he has really done, though, is get Cena to embrace his hate towards him.

Kane’s entire plan culminated when Eve kissed Cena right in front of Zack Ryder.

All Kane has done was get Cena’s best friend to hate him and Zyder’s love interest Eve to reveal that her and Ryder were “just friends.”

All of that has gotten Cena to hate Kane, not the WWE Universe.

You know, I don’t know why I’m getting into this because we all know who’s going to win this match.

I mean, it’s not like John Cena is going to go into WrestleMania looking weak against the Rock.

Winner: John Cena

WWE Divas Championship: Beth Phoenix vs. Tamina Snuka

2 of 4

Beth Phoenix has been the WWE Divas champion for four months now and she has beaten every single Diva on the active roster at least once, except for one.

Tamina Snuka has been with the WWE since 2010 but the two Divas have never crossed paths due to being on different brands when there were two titles or with both being heels.

Does having never faced Beth before constitute getting a title shot?

The champion sure thinks so as she herself seems to have chosen Tamina for her next title defense.

Last week on Monday Night Raw, Beth took notice of the second generation superstar when she picked up the win in an eight-Diva tag match.

The champion was once again impressed by Tamina four days later on SmackDown when she came out to save Alicia Fox and this past Monday on Raw when she defeated Brie Bella.

The daughter of the Superfly then teamed with Alicia this past Friday to defeat both Beth and Natalya.

Tamina has all of the momentum in this feud but I don’t think that’s going to help her one bit.

I think that she only has this spot because she literally is the only Diva on the active roster Beth has yet to face.

Beth Phoenix will defeat Tamina Snuka here, and then hopefully, Kharma will come out afterwards to challenge Beth to a match at WrestleMania.

Winner and Still Champion: Beth Phoenix

SmackDown Elimination Chamber: World Heavyweight Championship

3 of 4

Daniel Bryan vs. the Big Show vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Wade Barrett vs. the Great Khali vs. Santino Marella

Daniel Bryan shocked the WWE Universe when he cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase at the TLC PPV on the man who convinced him to cash in early, the Big Show.

Since then, Bryan has been defending his title against either Big Show or Mark Henry, and even both at the same time in a steel cage match at the Royal Rumble.

Whether he was getting his opponent disqualified, causing a riot during a lumberjack match, getting A.J. Lee run over or inadvertently being lowered out of the cage, Daniel Bryan has managed to retain his title every single time.

The champion won’t be able to weasel his way out of the Elimination Chamber, though.

Originally announced with Mark Henry and Randy Orton, both superstars have had to be replaced.

Even now with the Great Khali and Santino Marella, Bryan still has an uphill battle facing five other superstars.

The injuries to Randy Orton and Mark Henry really screwed this match over and it made the result of this match very obvious.

While WWE could surprise us and put the title on Cody Rhodes, Wade Barrett or even Santino for a day, I highly doubt they will.

This match will belong to Daniel Bryan.

Winner and Still Champion: Daniel Bryan

Raw Elimination Chamber: WWE Championship

4 of 4

CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho vs. the Miz vs. R-Truth vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston

CM Punk has had the WWE Championship since November and he has been the best champion WWE has seen in quite some time.

You wouldn’t be able to tell that from the ratings, though.

Anyway, Punk has been successfully defending his title against the likes of the Miz and Dolph Zigger, both of whom are in the Chamber Match.

R-Truth is there for comedy and Kofi Kingston being in the match shows how thin the main event scene on Raw is.

The big story in this match is Chris Jericho.

Upon his return last month, everyone knew he’d be going after CM Punk and figured that he’d win the Royal Rumble to do so.

Well, Jericho lost the Rumble so he attacked the champion instead.

The basis of his attack? To reclaim what was his! Jericho wanted his “Best in the World” moniker and the WWE Championship back.

Kingston, Truth and the Miz have no chance in this whatsoever.

Ziggler could come out victorious but I don’t think he’s ready to co-headline WrestleMania, so I won’t be going with him.

WrestleMania XXVIII is looking like Punk vs. Jericho but who will have the title going into the event?

I think the answer to that is Chris Jericho!

There seems to be more ratings in Punk chasing the title as they were fine during the summer. Since being champion, ratings and viewership have been down.

If people tuned in while he was chasing the belt they might to it again.

Ratings mean everything on the Road to WrestleMania.

Winner and New Champion: Chris Jericho
