NHL Trade Rumors: Odds for Rangers and Other Teams Landing Rick Nash
Rick Nash has been the hottest name on the NHL trade block, but where will he go? Will he even be dealt before the deadline?
Here's a quick look at some of the teams that have the best chance at acquiring the Columbus right wing, and what the (made up) odds of getting him are.

I think the Kings are the front-runners to get Nash. First of all, and most importantly, they have the assets to acquire him from CBJ before the trade deadline.
Secondly, the Kings need him the most and are willing to give up a lot to get him. L.A is dead last in the NHL in goals per game at 2.07, and could really use Nash to help bolster the offense. As a fringe playoff team, the Kings aren't afraid to make a drastic move.
This would be it.
Odds: 5:1
New York Rangers
According to ESPN's Pierre LeBrun, the Rangers are also a front-runner for Nash:
"I like the Rangers and Kings as front-runners both in their desire to acquire Nash and their ability to deliver on the assets the Blue Jackets require.
"
But, as Larry Brooks of the New York Post puts it, the Rangers shouldn't make a rash move.
Odds: 8:1
Detroit Red Wings
LeBrun points out that Nash would probably love playing for the Red Wings, but like the Rangers, Detroit is in good shape and shouldn't rush to shake things up.
They already have a solid core, and it would be surprising if they broke that up to acquire Nash.
Odds: 12:1
Toronto, San Jose and Vancouver
These teams are all certainly still in contention for Nash, but there hasn't been a whole lot of talk about any of them making moves. I'm just going to group them together with the same odds.
Odds: 15:1
Philadelphia Flyers
The Flyers have cap space and available assets, as Frank Seravalli of the Daily News points out, but they are more in need of defensive help.
Philly is already first in the league in goals per game at 3.30. Acquiring Nash doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
Odds: 20:1
