WWE Elimination Chamber 2012 Predictions: Cena Won't Drop Heated Match with Kane

Jeff ChaseFeb 17, 2012

When John Cena and Kane finally hit the mat at the 2012 WWE Elimination Chamber event in Milwaukee, WI, the end of this heated rivalry can only end with Cena walking away with a huge defeat over his new nemesis.

Since Kane's return to the ring this past December, his actions have been leading to this fight that can't result in anything less than an epic ambulance match. With all the situations surrounding Cena and Kane, there is no better place to put an end to this feud than in a huge pay-per view event like this.

This will likely be a match for the ages.

For these reasons there should be no doubt in anyone's mind that Cena will take the victory in this epic event.

Kane's Abuse of Zack Ryder

Ryder, being a good friend of Cena's, has been drawn into the entire feud between the two wrestlers.

Kane has made it clear that he isn't fond of anything that has to do with Cena, and he has taken that to the next level by abusing Ryder constantly over the last few weeks.

Ryder has been through a lot lately, as he has lost his title belt to Jack Swagger following a rib injury he sustained from Kane's abuse. It didn't end there, as Ryder was driven through the mat on a choke slam by Kane.

Just when Ryder thought the abuse was over, Kane gave an even greater beating to him at Royal Rumble, which resulted in him being put into a wheel char that Kane would eventually run off stage on Raw.

Cena Owes it to Ryder

With all the drama going on between Kane and Cena, one would have thought that at least he would have shown loyalty to his friend that has been sustaining all these injuries due to his situation.

After Cena saved Ryder's girlfriend Eve from Kane attempting to kidnap her, it was seen that the two were romantically kissing—perhaps just in the heat of the moment. Ryder saw the whole thing, which just added more frustration to his current set of issues.

After everything that has happened to Ryder over the last month, Cena can't let Kane walk away with a victory in this match.

The Rock is on the Way

No reason for Cena to win this match is bigger than his upcoming match with The Rock at Wrestlemania.

This fight has been hyped for quite sometime now, so it will be in Cena's best interest to walk into this match with a previous victory.

While it would be a nice comeback victory over The Rock if he lost to Kane, it just doesn't seem like that is the type of momentum he would want heading into that fight.

He has his eyes set on the bigger prize, so getting past Kane is just an obstacle in obtaining his ultimate goal.
