10 Superstars Superstars Who Deserve A Midcard Push
Hello fellow Bleacheronians!
As many of you WWE fans know, there is a show, and I use the term show lightly, on the internet called WWE Superstars. I have thoughts on how the WWE can better itself by destroying that show later, but for now, lets talk about what really makes the WWE the company it is today: The Talent. Men (and women, If you really care about that part of the shows) who cut a promo that makes you want to grab them and punch them In the face. The me who are the best In the world at what they do (Y2J). On Superstars, this talent Is wasted. And on TV, they are having a spot taken away by men who can barely speak or wrestle. Here are 10 men who deserve a push and could become the next Wade Barrett.
10. Heath Slater
1 of 11Yes, The Generic Ginger Is No. 10 on my list.
Heath Slater used to be a threat. In Nexus and The Corre, he was awesome. The guy is definitely better than a lot of current midcard Superstars (Mahal, I hate you).
He Is not a constant botcher and isn't bad on the mic. If he got a push and a more serious gimmick, he could be the next IC Champ.
Just Imagine him In a feud with Christian...
9. Yoshi Tatsu
2 of 11He's got talent. And lots of It.
The guys no Kurt Angle, but hes one of the best technicians in WWE today.
Imagine this guy with the IC Title. Cody's Restored the IC titles rich heritage since some awful title reigns, (Zeke? Really? Him?) but everyone wants him to go on to be heavyweight champion, and what originally gave Rhodes a push is now holding him back. Well Tatsu would make a very credible, believable and worthy holder of the strap.
Just one BIG problem; the guy doesn't speak English. Well, of course I thought of the perfect way to make him much more credible, and have him go down as the top foreign heel of all time
Bring back Mr. Fuji.
8. Tyler Reks
3 of 11The Dreadlocked Dreamer can keep sleeping, because his dreams of getting up higher up in WWE are about as close as hell get to them in the near future.
Do you remember when he came out for Team Smackdown at Bragging Rights? I thought he was about to get a huge push.
Wrong, was I.
He won for Smackdown, then got buried. Truth be told, he's a good wrestler and solid on the mic. I could very well see him as World Champ one day, but not anytime soon.
Shame.
7. Jimmy Uso
4 of 11He's the last of a dying breed. The Tag Team Division.
Lets face facts: The Tag Team Division is flat lining. But him and Jey could be the saving grace to this division. If they win the titles, they could bring something new to the Division. They could bring honor back to themselves, the Titles and the Division.
But he can't do it alone...
6. Jey Uso
5 of 11No Idea who's who in the Usos, they're the same to me.
I just like the name "Jey" better.
5. Trent Barretta
6 of 11Trent Barretta.
Who?
If you don't recall, allow me to refresh your memory.
Do you remember last year, Drew McIntyre was In a lackluster feud with some jobber, trying to prove he was a nice guy to Kelly Kelly, another feud that would be forever forgotten (Remember the Anonymous GM? I do. It haunts me.) Now remember that jobber looking guy who McIntyre would always fight? That is Barretta.
Hes a wrestler. I was a fan while he was on the Indies, and he could dazzle the mic.
Hes CM Punk Early 2011 ; A great wrestler who's just begging for a mic.
4. Micheal McGillicutty
7 of 11Good on the mic, great In the ring perfection in his blood. I'm not talking about Micheal.
I'm talking about Joe.
Joe is good on the mic. Joe Is great in the ring. Joe has perfection in his blood. A man forgotten, Joe Hennig. Son of Hall Of Famer, Curt Hennig. Not McGillicutty. No one cares about Mike.
Joe can steal the show. Joe can be one of the best IC Champs in history.
Micheal is just going to end up a footnote on Mr. Perfects Wiki page.
3. Tyson Kidd
8 of 11Tyson Kidd = Technician
Tyson Kidd = Underdog
Tyson Kidd = Greatness
Tyson Kidd + Manager + Push + IC Title = Ratings
It's simple math.
2. Johnny Curtis
9 of 11This kid is charisma.
His debut promos this Summer made you laugh and made you think. He's tremendous in the ring. He could be a Superstar, a Commentator and a manager.
Imagine the possibilities in a feud between him and Swagger. A title, Charisma and great wrestling.
One can only dream.
1. Curt Hawkins
10 of 11Curt Hawkins is the most underrated performer in the business. Period.
He is an amazing wrestler, and he is gold on the mic.
Watch Episode 52 of Z! True Long Island Story. Skip to Broski Of The Week. Watch the promo he cuts. Impeccable timing. Amazing timing. Awesome Delivery.
Now watch him in the ring.
If they give this guy a push like they did Barrett, he could be a credible and believable World Heavyweight Champ (I buy Bryan as a heel, but not as World Champ.) He Is great In every aspect, and he needs a camera. Anything less than World-Wide TV is a disgrace.
This kid is young.
This kid is hungry.
This kid delivers.
