WWE WrestleMania XXVIII: Why Triple H vs. the Undertaker Will Be a Big Hit
This is it, everyone.
Friday is here and so is the weekend.
WrestleMania XXVIII is almost here, and it is already believed to be one of the greatest of all time. With John Cena and The Rock set to collide, there might not be anything left of WWE when the show is over.
These two will certainly try to steal the show, but it will take an immense amount of dedication and perseverance to top another pair of performers.
The Undertaker has finally returned and has his sights set on the C.O.O., Triple H, once again.
Even if The Phenom won their battle last year, the war was ignited once more after Hunter dared to claim he put The Dead Man out once and for all.
Bold words, even for The Game.
Now, there will be hell to pay.
It is beyond a shadow of a doubt that this match at WrestleMania will make headlines as it is going to be the 20th appearance by The Undertaker.
Anything can happen in WWE, but the big hits keep on coming.
Be my guest, flip the pages and get ready for an epic battle that will blow everyone's minds.
Because the Third Time Is a Charm
1 of 6It will be a history-making moment.
Nobody has taken it to The Undertaker like Triple H has, and he came so close the last time you just had to do it again.
In 2011, their match stole the show and for a second there, some actually believed it would be the end of "The Streak." Luckily, it was not so.
This year, it should exceed expectations.
It will be Triple H's third attempt at bringing The Undertaker down, but this time it was the Phenom who came knocking at the door.
What price will be paid that night?
The WWE may never be the same again afterwards.
You know what they say: The third time is a charm.
Another Career May End
2 of 6Who is going to go out in style this time?
Triple H or The Undertaker?
A wild guess would be to have another Career vs. Streak match, but instead of Shawn Michaels, it would be HHH. Both members of D-Generation X will have tried everything to bring this legendary accomplishment down.
The stakes need to be high once again and putting someone's career on the line is the right price to pay for a crack at The Streak. Triple H has done everything in this business except defeat The Undertaker at WrestleMania, so maybe he should try to beat him or die trying.
With his loss, he could resume his duties full-time as the McMahon heir to the throne alongside his queen, Stephanie.
Not for nothing though, as this could easily be the greatest match of his amazing career.
He may even take the Dead Man with him. He certainly has that kind of power.
Because the Participants Are Legendary
3 of 6Triple H, Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker equals one word—legendary.
Will there be a physical manifestation of the Heartbreak Kid on April 1? It seems very likely, as he is already advertised to appear on RAW in coming weeks.
A wild hunch?
HBK will be the special guest enforcer in the match between Triple H and The Undertaker. This match will have the deck stacked against the dark prince, but he will not rest in peace—no one can end his streak of victories.
WrestleMania XXVIII will have a star-studded cast. The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Shaquille O'Neal and Mick Foley—important names all under one roof.
And to think stuff like this was common once upon a time.
The Undertaker's Entrances Are the Best
4 of 6What sort of warped reality will fans witness on April 1?
The Undertaker is known for making spectacular entrances and it will be no different this year. Once the trademark gong hits, the crowd will go nuts, as will I.
It's just the sort of thing everyone wants to see at the show of shows. Nothing less will suffice and just that alone is worth paying for this event.
That's why it is called sports entertainment right?
Maybe The Undertaker will descend from the heavens wearing a gigantic pair of black feathered wings or Triple H will model himself after another immortal character.
Either way, it will be majestic.
The fans always win in this case.
Because It's The Streak
5 of 6The Streak stands at 19-0.
Will that ever end?
No.
This is personal now, as Triple H dared to claim he ended The Undertaker's career at WrestleMania XXVII.
Even if he lost, he wasn't the one taken out in a stretcher, but death knows its master and on Jan. 30, it was ready to unleash him upon the mortal realm once more.
Is there something more valuable in WWE than "The Streak"? I'm not sure anymore.
Undertaker's career is defined by it. End that and it is all over for him. It would be a huge mistake to have him go 19-1, as it sounds horrible and the scar would never heal.
Let me be clear here: no one can and will EVER end The Streak.
Period.
That doesn't mean we can't have impressive attempts every time though.
It's WrestleMania, Not the Baseball Yawn Series
6 of 6WWE does it better than anyone except the Super Bowl.
WrestleMania XXVIII will be no exception.
It will be a night long remembered and the result may be far from what everyone expects. John Cena could turn to the dark side and defeat The Rock, people may riot, The Undertaker might lose to Triple H and Santino could win the MITB—what an evening it could be.
Let's just hope there aren't too many fillers and that every match counts this year.
How many main event matches can you count right now?
WrestleMania is synonymous with extravagance and excitement. Stars will be among you, champions will grace the squared-circle and legends will be made.
Oh how I long for April 1 to come.
