Report: Kevin Youkilis Set to Tie Knot with Tom Brady's Sister
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady may not have much to celebrate after losing the Super Bowl to the New York Giants on Sunday, but apparently his sister Julie does.
According to a report by Gayle Fee, Laura Raposa and Megan Johnson of the Boston Herald, Tom Terrific's sister is engaged to marry Boston Red Sox slugger Kevin Youkilis. The report is unconfirmed to this point, but as one Twitter user put it, the union would be like a royal wedding for the city of Boston.
The report states that Youkilis and Tom Brady's big sis first met a year ago at a Patriots team party following their playoff loss to the New York Jets. While that begs the question of why the Pats like to celebrate so much after they lose, perhaps it's what drew Youk in.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
Last season's Red Sox collapse is well documented as they blew a huge playoff cushion and ended up missing the postseason completely. Many blamed the team's swashbuckling ways as pitchers Jon Lester, Josh Beckett and John Lackey admitted to eating fried chicken, drinking beer and playing video games in the clubhouse during games in which they weren't starting.
There was never any indication that Youkilis was involved in such shenanigans, but he was bothered for much of last year with a thumb injury and missed the final month of the season, which coincided with Boston folding like a cheap suit.
Whatever the case, Youkilis reportedly joined Julie and the rest of the Brady family in their suite at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. They watched Tom fall to the Giants in the big game for the second time in five years, but the Patriot gunslinger will land on his feet as he is already married to super model Gisele Bundchen and has three Super Bowl rings of his own.
According to the report, the possible future brother-in-law of Tom and Gisele plans to marry Julie in California following the upcoming MLB season. Julie and her five-year-old daughter from a previous relationship reportedly plan to move to Florida from California in order to be with Youkilis during spring training.
This would be Brady's first marriage and Youkilis' second as he was once married to former girlfriend of actor Ben Affleck, Enza Sambataro. Despite his round physique, Youk has done quite well with the ladies, but one tweeter thinks Julie might have some ulterior motives.
If this report is completely accurate, then Youkilis and Brady figure to be the No. 2 power couple in Boston behind only Tom and Gisele. If things don't end up working out, though, then there could be some tension between two of the city's biggest sports stars.
The proverbial honeymoon could be short for Julie and Youk, though. After Tom's latest Super Bowl loss, it appears that patience is already wearing thin with Gisele. One commenter on the Boston Herald's report of the Youkilis engagement suggested that the model be jettisoned: "we need jinxelle to get lost".
Gisele has caught a lot of flak since her comments following the Super Bowl. While being hounded by some Giants fans, she suggested that the loss should be pinned on the New England receivers as she said that her husband couldn't "throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time."
This has Patriot fans a bit irked. Another commenter on the Boston Herald story hopes that Gisele doesn't make an appearance at Fenway Park in order to "support" her possible brother-in-law:
"Crap. Does this mean Gisele will be attending Red Sox games and saying Kevin can't catch and hit the ball?
"
Above all else, however, the people who would be most affected by this potential union are New York sports fans. If Youk and Julie decide to have a child, then there is the possibility that their genes could combine to spawn the most skilled and annoying Boston athlete in history.
If New York fans thought they hated Youkilis or Brady, just wait until two-sport star Tom Youkilis bursts onto the scene. I'm sure Boston fans can see it now.
