WWE Elimination Chamber: Odds on Each Raw Member Winning the Match and Why

David LevinJun 7, 2018

According to the official WWE website, the Elimination Chamber Match is a bout in which two participants begin in the ring and the remaining four are held within pods in each corner.

These Superstars are released into the match at five-minute intervals, with the objective being to eliminate each opponent via pinfall or submission.

The last Superstar standing is declared the winner.

While all six contestants from Raw, WWE Champion CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, Chris Jericho, R-Truth, The Miz and Kofi Kingston, have a legitimate chance of walking away with the win and possibly the WWE Title, it would seem only a short few truly have a chance of bringing home gold.

Here are odds and reasons why each contest could win on February 19 at the PPV event.

Kofi Kingston, 50:1

Having Kingston is good and bad at the same time.

After his performance in the Royal Rumble, it would appear he is ready to take another leap toward a singles title. There is really no other place for him on Raw because tag team wrestling is obsolete.

He doesn't really stand a chance against his other competitors and seems the likely choice to be the first one eliminated.

R-Truth, 45:1

I want to see more of him in a true "face" role.

There is something edgy about him which is appealing, but he needs to have a strong showing in this PPV. His angel with The Miz will always be part of the match.

But if Miz and Truth continue to battle in something like this, then neither will be able to move toward winning it.

Dolph Ziggler, 25:1

Wow, look how the mighty have fallen.

Three weeks ago, he was "The Man" to challenge for a WWE Title. Now, he is an afterthought.

Ziggler deserves a better outcome.

With all the talent in the ring at this event, maybe he gets his stride back and can challenge for the WWE Title.

The Miz, 15:1

He is in a state of purgatory right now being in the middle of star power and actually jobbing.

Remember he was the headliner at WrestleMania last year.

The Miz can get another push with a win here and maybe steal the WWE Title in the process. He is way too talented to be in the middle of the pack.

CM Punk, 5:1

5 of 6

I don't see him winning this PPV event. For some reason, I see him dropping the title and Sheamus facing Jericho at WrestleMania 28.

Punk is better chasing the title (I know, I have said this over and over) but he and Jericho could work magic.

If Sheamus picks Jericho, then look for Punk to challenge another big name... Maybe Undertaker?

Chris Jericho, 2:1

Yes, the world is going to change as we know it.

The WWE did not want Jericho winning the Royal Rumble, but he either needs to win the belt here at the Elimination Chamber or win it at WrestleMania 28.

Too much has gone into the planning of this "revival" for him not to win the title and like I have said before, The Piper and Savage of this generation would be Epic!
